Ah.... yesterday.... the day of the black hole. It had to have been the worst day Mannie has ever had - never left the black floor for the entire AM cycle :shock: The PM cycle however was a different story.... the fdmb diving champion decided to test his diving skills once again: 400 points in just under 5 hours. I wonder if that is a record... It was nice to see that 100 @ +5.5. So off to bed I went, after leaving him some MC food, with thoughts of a nice amps, thoughts of bouncing in the morning, thoughts of paws crossed. How awesome it was to see a 203 this morning, awesome to get a 195 at +1.5. Looks like a good morning cycle shaping up. What a difference a day makes. Mannie you sure do make life interesting, challenging, rewarding. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. nanners were scattered this morning. hmmmmmm - he must have had a play session sometime last night. Ownership was confirmed with a few sniffs, and pats, with no civvie scents so all is well in the nanner pile. :lol: :cool: We have a happy furry purry kitty this morning. Testing and shooting and eating were greeted with purrs, and his happy feed me dance. On today's menu: Merrick Surf and Turf - apparently must be really good stuff - it got lots of nom nom purrrrrrrrrr nom nom until the bowl was licked clean. :razz: Status in the clean plate club remains intact. It's been a nice morning for him.

My friends! I am done with global earth surveying... I like it better down here anyways. What's up for today? It's very wet here today - we could go surfing on the streets. nahhhhhh, bet we can do better. Anybody got something they want to do? i am ready, now that I am earth bound again, for anything! ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, Hi Mannie, How nice to see those good numbers this morning after yesterday!!!!! Keep up the good work, Mannie. Maybe your package will come today and you'll have a whole new range of meter readings. I hope so! The Infinity seems to be OK in the lower numbers, it's just in the high ones that it seems to behave like it's name.

But what an awesome start to today. Wish there was a way to avoid them blacks.

Have you witnessed Mannie actually playing with his Nanners and spreading them around? I only recall ever hearing about him collecting them and lying on them. :mrgreen:

So happy for you and Mannie today! Leave that black hole behind, and enjoy this beautiful (if wet) day! I always thought I'd like to live in Washington or Oregon. Only been there once to visit a friend, but that beautiful green lushness will be in my memory forever.

Hi Mannie, I hope you have fun today. I have to stay home and help momma bean with my brother, T.J. He might have to go to the doctor today to get his eye washed out. He jerked when mom was giving him his daily dose of mineral oil for constipation and a bit went right in his eye. Poor little guy, he's a bit of a clutz. I love him, though, and if he falls asleep, I plan to give that eye of his a good bathing with my tongue.

I was waiting for your condo to check on our Mannie rainbow kitty and so happy for you to see these numbers. I hope he surfs these numbers! Is it rain there today - not sure about our weather.

Hi Karrie - yes indeed, never a dull moment, and we hung that gold medal with the others.... :roll: :lol: and so agreed with the blacks. Hopefully when my new meter comes we can get rid of the blacks, never had them before until we started using the current one. i know... always so easy to blame the meter.... on the nanners: most of the play comes at night, during my sleep time. sometimes in the day he will shuffle them, but not as much as he does at night. Most of what i see in the daytime is the slobber chew lick hug stuff.

Hi Ella - I hope so too - waiting on the mail guy. :lol: I expect though that it will be a couple of days. I think so too on the Infinity and the lower numbers. It does better there. the high stuff is just so off course. Ann of Ann and Tess called the rep yesterday, and he said that the Maxima and the Infinity both use the same enzyme to react to the blood, and that he thought the variance was due to the electronics. weird, huh. I dunno - but am glad to know that soon I will be rid of it... :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Hi Roni - good moods abound today! no black hole! I gave him specific no diving instructions, to which I got that "huh?" look...

Morning Sandy - thanks - a much better day here today,. and yes on the greens here. The rains get alot of bad press, but it isn't always as bad as it is made out to be. march is always very wet... but sure does leave some very nice greens, lushness, gorgeous things in its wake.

Very nice recovery for Mannie....Mike told me when he came to bed that Mannie got down to a nice number last night. YAY!!! I'm really, really glad for you....happy!!!
Hope he sees some green today.

Mannie..I am so tired!!!! My little ears got lots of pokeys but my beans are happy!! I could do for some chillaxin in the sun but just a little rest and I'll be ready to go again!

155 @ +4. I am happy with this - a nice slow blue recovery from a horrific day yesterday. Well done Mannie. stay where you are, maybe a continuous slow descend, and things will be great. :-D

Hi Marjorie - yep, another Mannie dive from the blacks to the blues - i think he could have gone green, but I was so tired, more stress related than anything else, that I fed him and went to bed. Right now is a very slow descend in the blues - and I am glad for that - perhaps he will keep that going and find some greens then that his body can sustain. paws crossed!

Hey Gracie - sounds good to me! I am bringing the gang - Rusty has had a rough morning, Maggie is wanting to escape, and well what the heck! let's get in some sun time! Rest up and we will see you soon! ~~ Mannie

We have a slight break in the rains - think I will head on out on the local trails while I still can - get a few miles in. SWEET! :-D :-D

Checking in late tonight. Mannie had a good run today and is much better than yesterday but here's hoping he doesn't go any higher tonight.

Celi - i should thank you... it was great. you really do have a knack for bringing out the lighter side of things - brightening someones day. I had fun today with the gracie/tess thing. poor mannie :lol: :lol: :lol: he's still scrambling on that one. humor and laughter is such a blessing, don't you think?
 
Darn...looks like I missed all the fun today while I was monitoring Gracie, working, taking care of Mike, and trying to keep Tess and Gracie from dunking Mannie in the pool after his little snafu!!! And it looks like the trio bounced since daddybean was too sick to make niptinis. Gracie asked me to send this photo to Mannie so he'd have one of her AND Tess on his condo so he could tell the difference (BTW....what a wonderful pic of Tess the beautiful!!).
