Morning ~O) this is not a bad AMPS for Maggie girl today! She had a CPC of the overnight food. I have some great news for Detective Poo's report. :-D Maggie had prezzies again, two days in a row, and again soft but not liquipoo and in form. I have Mags totally on the Miralax and no Lactulose. One teaspoon daily (divided thru the day) seems to be the right dose. Good appy today and yesterday we even had play time with her mouse pole toy. She hasn't played in a while, so that tells me she's feeling better.
Good news on the steps, too, as I had no wake up calls thru the night and did find her sleeping on the bed with me when awaking. I fell back asleep and then found her on the patio chair at her secuity post the second time awaking.

The other good news is that I have my car back after some much needed repairs, new tires, a fan for the A/C (working so great now). I also needed two new fuel injectors. It turns out my car was overheating, but none of my panel lights warned me of it. It was leaking some some gas. They said I was very lucky it didn't overheat on me when I had the drive north to the doctor this past Monday. Had it been stop and go traffic, I could have run into trouble. I just had straight freeway and left early to avoid peak traffic. I'm always good about taking my car in for maintenance, but lately I've had so many other things going on with Mags I delayed a bit.
Have a nice day. I have so many errands today, Petco, human store, Fax, et al.
Mannie, sure could use some Espresso Triples, thanks.

Sending tons of good Vetty vines for Zener's dental this morning

Nice blue Maggie. Yay on the poo. Your hard work on tweeking the Miralmax has definitely helped. That is great that she is using her stairs too. What a wonderful WRC today.

Good think you took your car in. It does get expensive, but at least you got it all fixed with no issues. That is scary about your fuel injectors. Thank goodness they found it.

Have a wonderful day Ann!

And Mags is in the Green Lagoon, just like clockwork it seems, as it's been her pattern lately. I hope Mr. Rusty is there, too! I had a can of the Avodern Chicken, as I ran out of the Evo Turkey & Chicken. Mags loves the Avodern, so guess what I'll be picking up today. I hope PetsMart carries it, as that's where I'm headed, as my human store is also in the complex.

Hi Melissa, thanks on the tweaking. It does seem to be the right dose, and thank goodness Mags loves bf, as that's where I hide it. It was scary on the car and the fuel injectors and glad I got it in yesterday.

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O)
Auntie Ann! On my way!! I will bring lots of everything today~ Mannie, kitteh barista

Maggie is on a roll! Such great numbers these past few days. Keep them coming Maggie.

So sorry for all the car repairs.. but nice that they fixed you all up. I know how it is to have to delay on maintenance when life dictates otherwise. Scary to know what could have been...

YAY! Prezzies!!! Good job Ann. And you too Maggie.

Have a good one today. I am so glad that Maggie likes her steps, and that she's using them to get onto the bed. YAY!!!! :-D :-D

Re: 3/15 Maggie AMPS 169; +3 87

What a great report on Maggie this morning. I'm glad you got your car fixed before it became a problem. It's a good thing you left early to avoid traffic for your appointment.

Re: 3/15 Maggie AMPS 169; +3 87

Beautiful #s for Miss Maggie this morning!!! WTG, lil girl!!!

I'm so glad that your car is back, and that you got all the problems fixed. I hope that it didn't cost too much damage in your pocket book. We're looking at getting the car into the shop pretty soon. May be doing that when DH is on vacation. I drive the truck when he's not working. Thankfully, we have a backup vehicle, but it would cost us twice in gas for him to drive the truck daily to work and back than it would for him to drive the car. We'll see.

Have a good day, and be safe, please.

Good Morning Ann & Mags,

What a great report this morning. And nice and early into the lagoon (but the LagoonMeister is so far up in the woods that he probably can't even see you, Maggie!).

It's great that your car got fixed. It really needed it!! Enjoy your drive to the malls today. Hope you can find the Avoderm chicken. Will you get to Trader Joe's too?

Enjoy the day,

Ella & Rusty

All kinds of fabulous news over here! So Mags likes Avoderm...I may have to give that a whirl with Trix and see what she has to say about it.

If you go to TJs, I highly recommend the cinnamon crumpets and edamame hummus (but not together  !)!!! Have a great day, Ann!

Oh I guess Mags didn't feel like lingering in the Green Lagoon. She had some squash bf with her Miralax, but that shouldn't bring her up that much, still a nice number and permission for the Bean to get an early start.

Thanks Josie, it nice to have some good news, especially on the prezzies.

Thanks Mannie, yum on the bagels idea mentioned yesterday and wow on thr Quad Espressos today.
Hi Michelle, yes, the stairs are a blessing, an Mags seems to like hopping on the steps, as they're wide, and she could almost sit down on them. They were very inespensive, too.

Thanks Carla on the visit and thanks for visiting us last night after I logged off, too. Yes, so glad I got the car repaired. One of these days will need a good certified used car.

Thanks Angela, I am trying not to let Mags eat too close to the +10 and keep her ps's lower.

Hi Ella, thanks on Mags. Bummer as I won't make it to TJ's today. It in the opposite direction towards the beach, soo though, as I'm out of some of their vitamins and chocolate. Love that store.

Hi Amy, I'll be interested in seeing if Trixie likes the Avoderm Chicken. Thanks for the recommendations on TJ's. I've got to get there soon.

Re: 3/15 Maggie AMPS 169; +3 87

Detective Poo here and VERY PLEASED!!! Woohoo, Mags! And using the stairs! :-D :-D :-D Nicely done, Mags. Great news on the car, Ann. I'm sure it wasn't cheap but now you know it's in good shape. Happy Friday!
Liz

Re: 3/15 Maggie AMPS 169; +3 87

Thanks Detective Poo! :-D I do think she may be okay on just the Miralax, and that was the goal of the other Vet who did the enema on Mags was to get her off Lactulose. Yes, the car repairs were very expensive, but now feel safer. I had a feeling something was amiss; just was not ready to get another car yet.

Re: 3/15 Maggie AMPS 169; +3 87

HI Ann

What a wonderful post this morning. Too many happy things to comment on, even

Can I get away with saying just that? :-D :-D :-D
I hope you're having a fun time shopping today. I have a new food to look for now, Avoderm..never heard of it.

Re: 3/15 Maggie AMPS 169; +3 87; +5 115; +9 222

+9 222

I could not believe this number as Mags was doing so well. I checked it twice, and second reading was 224, so it's correct. Oops! I was so intent on the Phosphorus that I forgot to check the carbs in the Avoderm Chicken. It has 9 carbs, and Mags being very carb sensitive, is the reason for the yellow number!!!
Amy & Trixie, if you feed it to Trixie, it may spike her readings. I can use it as a mc when I want to bring Mags up! Oh well, she'll come down.

Hi Barb, I only picked up five cans of the Avoderm Chicken. Maybe Checkers can handle it. It doesn't have any chunks in it though. It's a very moist fuds and slurpy when I add water. Thanks on my condo.
When I came home, I couldmt find Mags. She was in my closet. I had a soft blanket on the floor, and she was cuddled in it. She must have been cold. My bedroom tends to be on the cool side, as there's a large tree outside my window that blocks the sun.

Re: 3/15 Maggie AMPS 169; +3 87; +5 115; +9 222

Thanks for the tip over in Trix's condo. I looked at Dr Lisa's chart right before I headed out and noticed that AvoDerm was higher than I usually go for Trix. I got her some Cowboy Cookout, BG Beef, EVO, and something else that I can't remember. I know she's not a fan of the BG and EVO, but I'm hoping if we give her variety, she'll go for it from time to time. I don't like this food switch at all!

PMPS 204

Well, down a little, but I did give fluids. She was squirmy with the fluids, so I didn't get it all in today! :?
I bought Mags a new bed for the sofa today. I got some medicine on it, and some other stuff, and it's seen it's life anyway!

Amy, so glad you checked the carbs on the Avoderm. I bought more of the Evo Turkey & Chicken today, and she's semi okay with that food,. Sounds like you have some choices. I think it's a good idea to have a variety, as we never know when they might stop eating one of them! Picky Plate Club!

Hi Ann. Glad that the Prezzie fairy paid you a visit two days in a row. It looks like you were right that the Avoderm Chicken was the culprit for the yellow number.

How nice is it that Maggie is using her new stairs? It didn't take her too long to figure them out...pretty smart kitty.

Have a great evening.
