Another good start for today. I have a call into vetty to get her thoughts on Trix's improvement - both overall, and BG-wise. More than anything else, I'm very nervous/anxious about stopping the ABs too soon....we'll see what she says. I wish Trix didn't have a tendency to backslide/get sick with BW....I'd love to know where her kidney values are now - she's feeling and looking so good that it doesn't make sense that her values could be as bad as they are. But, as we know, we're keeping vetty visits to the bare minimum since she seems to get sick after going there.

Last few gelcaps haven't been too bad. This morning's actually went down on the first try, which was a huge relief because I was in need of a BTB and my ability to do so hinged on a smooth gelcapping. Thank you, Trix!

It's a work day....time to start working. Sending healing prayers to China, and hugs to Deborah's sister as she says good by to her sweet little Pixie today.

Have a great day, L&LL!

We were very happy with tonight's PMBG :D! Vetty said to continue the AB for two more weeks, then we'll evaluate. Super happy appy and spunky kitty tonight.

Don't be too jealous, @Laura&Chichi ...my BTB was only about 40 minutes, if that long. I still had to work...and no long naps in the near future for me!

Max used to get a pancreatitis ever time he went to the vet. It happened after his dental. I would avoid vet visits unless necessary and feeling good would not signal a vet visit if I were you. In my experience with CKD you look at the cat and not the numbers. Just my two cents worth.

:):D Love the happy kitty report.
