Figured I should poke my head in and say hello. We've been busy, busy here, so I haven't had time to post.
Todd's numbers have been looking pretty good. Usually staying in the blue or yellow, though sometimes going into purple.
I haven't been able to do much in the way of BG checks during the afternoons or evenings, but I will be doing a curve on Wed. My question has to do with that. Should I do the BG check once every hour or every two hours? Just curious.
Todd seems to be doing pretty well overall. His hair is still VERY slowly growing back in patches, but the one thing I have noticed is that the fur he does have, feels very soft. I wonder if that might have anything to do with getting his numbers down more? I haven't checked his weight in a few weeks, so I'm going to do that tomorrow. He feels like he may have gained, though he still has a very boney back side. I guess that is just from the kidney disease and there isn't much I can do about it.
He seems well though.
I haven't done his PMPS tonight because when I went to check it, it was 115, then 25 minutes later, it was 111. over an hour later we're at 139 and I'm not totally sure if I should shoot at that or not. I don't feel comfortable shooting below 149-150. Anyway, I'm giving it another 15 mins to see where he goes.
Hope everyone is doing well!
Sarah
