Constipation
The saga continues...
I brought Rex down to the litter boxes before I went to bed last night and he tried, but only got a few drops of diarrhea. I thought it was interesting he didn't need to pee.
This morning, he was more like himself (fast to purr and came for pets) and he didn't make any messes in the bathroom overnight. He did drink some water I left in the bathroom. He ate some, but not all, of his breakfast. He went into the litter box and passed a small hard clump and some drops. Still no pee, though. His butt is a lot cleaner so he must have used that water to keep himself hydrated while cleaning the area.
I'm waiting for the vet to call. But I don't feel like it's as much an emergency like it was last night. Rex is happy and sleeping on the couch (covered with a blanket!).

He's acting 100% himself again. His butt is totally clean like yesterday didn't happen and the anus looks normal. I'll bring him to the litter boxes before I go to bed, just to see what he does. The house was clean!
