Finally, a morning out of the 300's!

Racci was fairly high last night at PMPS-273 so I thought she might be really high this morning but instead she did not get a pink number in the morning as she has been. I'm just hoping it doesn't turn into one at the pm shot instead. I wanted to get a +15 last night but had to help DH with a project and wound up falling asleep afterwards so it didn't happen so will try again tonight. Having her pre-mixed wet food ready for DH did work though even tho I wound up feeding it and leaving him just 6 of the dry treats to give so he had something to give her, so I guess I know what I have to do for the mornings from now on.

Racci ate another breakfast after her test, got her meds & talked me into playing with her toy basket for a while and has been sleeping since. The little old lady needs her beauty naps. Every time I go in their, she raises her head and paw, stretches and quietly says hi and goes back to sleep.

I'm hoping she still sees blues with her new dose of 3.75U.

Laurie, there were definitely treats on that list that I hadn't seen before tho some of them are a little too expensive. I will give some of them a try, thanks. Do any of you use liver? Do the cats like them? or beef? Have you tried the Complete Natural Nutrition? Are they worth the money?

Re: 3/14 Racci AMPS 210!

Yay, Racci! You look much better in yellow!

I don't know about those treats; we've had good luck with the freeze-dried chicken. And Miranda goes crazy for the dried shrimp, but Atticus stopped eating them and they stink up the whole room.

Re: 3/14 Racci AMPS 210!

NICE AMPS!!!

Binks and the girls totally dig the freeze dried chicken treats, but whenever we want to save money I just cook up a chicken breast.
They think it's a wonderful "special goodie" :-D

Re: 3/14 Racci AMPS 210!

very nice start to the day for racci! i hope the consistent dose will bring you some better results!

we're with the boiled chicken - punkin will eat anything and it's easy for me to do.

Re: 3/14 Racci AMPS 210!, +6 67

Thanks you all. So far she's staying in good numbers. She had a +6 67, a nice bm and then she stopped eating! She wouldn't eat her lunch at all so I tried again a little later and she ate a little but not much. I'm hoping she doesn't ruin it all by being too low at her pmps now. She seems to feel ok, just not hungry. It's been really hot today, in the 80's. I wonder if this hot spell so early is just throwing her off. I'd hate to have to put the AC on already in March!

I wish Racci was so easy with food. She doesn't like the freeze dried and I tried the shrimp once and both the cats hated them. I wound up giving those to the ferals. Too bad I don't have any around here with all I throw away! I already told you how she is with chicken too. Its funny. For a while she really liked those organic dried chicken shavings that are supposed to be good for the hips (can't think of the name) and the Halo, Have a Hearts, then all of a sudden she stopped liking everything.

I've been wondering if tonight might be a good night to try something new like NV duck or if she's just going to not like anything I give her tonight for dinner. Do you try something new when they're having a day like this? My biggest problem with her most days is eating. I sure hope she didn't decide she doesn't like this Wellness Salmon & Trout after I just bought a case!

Well hopefully, this dose is going to be good for her. If she'll just eat tonight after her test & give me a nice yellow number, I'll be a happy camper.

Racci gave me just what I asked for! A nice low yellow so I don't have to worry tonight and a day without a pink amps or pmps. This dose just might work out for her. We'll see if she gets back to the blues again on it now once she settles into the change. She ate some dinner tonight too with some coaxing. It must be the heat that's killing her appetite. She's acting like she feels contented, stretching and cleaning herself and giving me lovey eyes as she sits here with me.
