Hi!

Nacho is still on the line of blues and greens - one green this morning and another at +4. Monitoring him tightly today since I kept him at .5u (he was higher PMPS last night and didn't decrease yet to 0.25u).

Plan to decrease tonight or tomorrow morning based on his numbers! Last night a little higher for PMPS.

I am home today from work WOO SNOW in NJ so keeping a close eye on Nacho today!

My vet wanted me to bring him back for a check up (after initial visit to teach me how to use insulin), but I didn't go yet because it seems like nacho is doing just fine at home. Thoughts? I think the only point was for the vet to test him around Nadir Time.....

The sad part of that is for those who blindly trust the vet often have a bad or sad outcome :(
Nacho is lucky to have a good mama!

Yes! When he had his first dip below 50 when I had him on 1.25u the first thing I thought was "would I have killed Nacho if I started at 2u!"

Congrats on the reduction. I think I'd wait a little while to go the vet. I like the idea of seeing if you can get him OTJ first. :)

Thank you! Nacho has been a wild cat lately too running around so much more like he used to :D smacking my dog in the face haha! (The dog is terrified of the cat by the way.. and the dog is a 65lb stafforshire pitbull/English bulldog mix)
