March 13, 2019 Condo - "Historic" Blizzard Prep
Good morning everyone!
Well Lou is still bouncing, and for once, that's okay with me. Hopefully this one doesn't last a full 4-5 cycles, because then that would be annoying.
It looks like we might have caught a break with the storm. It rained far longer than I thought we would have, and we got about an inch of snow overnight. When I woke up this morning, there was a lull: Wind, but no snow or blowing snow. Unfortunately, my job sucks and doesn't see the benefits of closing clinics when even the city offices have closed. So while I thought I wouldn't even try to go to work, I find myself at work this morning. It really didn't seem like it was going to be that bad, and the lull didn't give me any reason not to try to come in to work. So we're still under a blizzard warning, but so far, it's not nearly as scary out there as it should have been. WHEW!!
I hope you all have a wonderful day and your kitties surf safely (Here's looking at you Ollie! @Olive & Paula). Thank you again for your well wishes and power outage prep advice. I feel like since I was actually prepared and ready to rock and roll, I likely wouldn't need it.
