Good morning! Gave a bit extra Miralax yesterday and today to see if it will help her poop soften up. She is still only going about every other day, and its a small amount. I think it is definitely affecting her am numbers. She usually comes down after she poops. I predict she drops to green today judging by her ss pattern. Im off today so will be updating at +3. Her spreadsheet is sure looking pretty! lots of blue preshots in there recently.

You've probably tried adding squash to her food, but if not, that's another idea that might help. Several people have mentioned cooking one, freezing it in ice cube trays and adding it to food. Punkin didn't like it, but it seems like a lot of cats do.

I've used Gerbers baby food squash but I don't think it contains as much fiber as pumpkin. Max liked it better I think but I did put it in his ff. I'm now putting pumpkin in his food, a small amount twice a day. That and Miralax once a day is working well for now.

She may have dropped below 100 but I didnt catch it if she did..meant to take a quick nap at +6 and woke up 3 hours later. Thanks for the info Elise and Julie. I havent tried anything but the Miralax yet, but I have pumpkin that Im going to try if I dont see some results soon.

Beautiful PMPS! Vyktor has taken well to his pumpkin and is having much better quality poops now. I started by mixing in just a 1/4 teaspoon twice daily and have now settled on about 2/3 tsp twice daily and about 1/4-1/3 tsp of coconut oil. He hasn't had such good looking poops in years! I tried Purrdy on the pumpkin while he was here too as his was a little hard - dehydration from flying perhaps - he loved it, I didn't even need to mix his in the food, just put it on top like a cherry!
