ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile Soooo, GroggyDopeyBean thought Trix was settled in upstairs when she went to prepare Trix's shot. Since Trix was supposedly upstairs, said bean put kibbles down for Frankie and Zen, who were waiting so patiently, then went into the other room (behind a closed door) to prepare the shot. Of course, the syringe was being tricky, and it took longer than usual for DopeyBean to get the dose correct.

When DopeyBean return to the kibble scene...well, you guessed. Boy, was she one happy little cat, crunching up a storm! What could I do but giggle and secretly enjoy that she was so happy for a few seconds there? Of course, it HAD to be on a morning that she's all bouncy, right? From what I could tell, she got several good mouthfuls. Her +2.5 will be interesting....

I'm going back to bed ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ....

Sorry to hear about the kibble. I bet Trixie was happy. We've all done things like that. I wish the things they love so much weren't so bad for them. I hope she doesn't go too high today.

oh no.... part of me is laughing, part of me is thinking darn it, the rest is also enjoying her pleasure in forbidden fuds... It really is not a bad +2.5 considering. GO TRIXIE! Those kitties - they can be so sneaky....

LOL...Trix doesn't need much coaxing when it comes to kibble. She sits and waits and waits and waits in hopes that someone will drop a crumb, and if they do, she is usually way faster than I am when it comes to getting it. I soooo wish she could eat it. My civvies absolutely refuse to eat canned (Long story short, they will starve themselves before touching it), so it's pretty torturous for Trix that they get to eat kibble and she can't. I say daily prayers that the civvies stay FD-free....

Sorry about the kibble raid.
Ripley often waits near our drooler's food to see if he drops any kibbles (and he usually does). I spend meal times shooing Ripley away from dog's food, civvie away from Ripley's food, and dog away from both cats' food. It's a circus.

Oh no, on the kibble raid! Like Michelle, I'm trying not to laugh either! :o The only thing wrong with this picture is that Mags is wishing she could have been at the kibble raid!

Oh gosh Amy, how I understand!
It's a circus around here too, with civvies refusing wet food, and when I relent (angrily), and give kibble to them, I often manage to let Checkers get into the room. Tux makes me crazy with his stubborn refusal to eat wet. He just now did me a big favor and ate about a teas of FF.

Trixie must have been in her glory....I hate to laugh, but did anyway (teehee) :-D

Hope you got a little more sleep :smile:

I guess Kibble is irresistible! Trixie, it's good, isnt' it? Too bad it isn't good for you! Don't bounce, now!

Hi Amy, One of my friends saw an ad on TV for an automatic feeder that works with an electronic chip in the cat's collar. It will only open for that chip, and when the cat moves away from the feeder, it shuts, so no other cats or dogs in the household can eat from that feeder. I'm going to try to find out more about it.

Hi guys .. uh oh trixie! You can't be sneaking in on any kibble .. even though it makes you so happy! We also have a civvie on kibble and I pray the same thing as you Amy .. that she remains FD free as she would not be one we could treat easily :sad: Have a great day guys!

Oh my Trixie! I bet she was one very happy little girl for a few fleeting seconds this morning. So sad that they can't have it. Kind of like me and any dessert. Hope you got some more rest and have a great day Amy!!
