This morning she was eating great big bite fulls of her pate so thanks J.D. for sneaking down overnight and showing her how that's done!
But she only wanted to eat if (1) I stayed in the room w/her or (2) if Rocket was eating.
She and Rocket stayed in her big room again today while I was at work, with lots of food, no kibble today, and water left out. Most of it was gone when I got back & I seriously doubt Rocket ate all of it so it looks like she ate good today & this is apparently reflected in her am+11 #.
Tonight I will put her plate of food up on the table where she can get to but Rocket can't jump up onto (long story, he has hypothalamus damage & a weight issue) which will allow me to see if she'll eat up on the table while he eats down on the floor. If that pans out I will do this with their food tomorrow which will let me see how much she eats during the day. Guess it's time to get one of those timed feeders again, I had two several years ago but they both broke a long time ago.
She is grooming herself now too which is a very good sign, probably b/c she wants to look real pretty just in case that handsome J.D. comes back tonite.
If she's still eating over the weekend when I can be home I will edge her dose up, try to get her down some. She had been running anywhere from mid-greens to low 200s b4 she got sick, usually all over the place in that range tho unfortunately, I've never really been able to get her regulated, a lot of that has to do w/my schedule, makes me feel really guilty for her.
