AMPS 381. Definitely higher than I'd like, especially with no food. Gave him his full dose and dropping him off at the vet in a little less than an hour. Hopefully they take closer to the hour than the two for the test so I can get some food in him.

Remind them that he got insulin and needs to be prioritized to get him in and out. I'm always the squeaky wheel at my vet office

AND Good Luck!

Hope all goes well at the vets, I agree with Bobbie, make a fuss about the fact that he's had an insulin shot and that he needs to get some food in him the sooner the better.

Keep us posted, we are thinking of you both.

I'm starting to get irritated. This has gone from "he'll be done in 1-2 hours" to "he'll be ready by lunch" to now it's past lunch and still no word. I did call earlier and they at least fed him.

I'm sorry they are keeping you waiting, I hope they managed to draw the blood and do the biopsy. Poor guy.

Paws crossed he's home very soon.

169@+8. Well I feel a lot better now. When he came home he pretty much went straight to the water fountain and then 5 minutes later went back, so with the high BG this morning I was dreading that it was going to be through the roof now and he'd be building up ketones. But, ketone check is lo and BG is 169 so everything is looking good. Hopefully we get back into the greens tonight.

PMPS 135. Kinda weird, wasn't really expecting a 70 point drop in 45 minutes, but maybe the 206@+11 read a little high. I'll get a +1 to see what it's looking like.

Perhaps he's not had as much food as he normally has?
Did he have an anaesthetic? Subqs? They can make them run a bit lower too.

238@+1. Numbers are all over the place.

He's eaten pretty close to his normal amount for the day, only 1/8 a can less than normal. No anaestehtic or subqs.
