Good Morning, Everyone,
I got some wonderful kitty kisses and head butts during the night, but this morning Rusty woke us up with his congestive cough. He's OK now. The Allerplex is supposed to loosen up "hardened masses of accumulated mucous" to make it easier to expel. Hopefully that is what is happening. We are on Day 6. Rusty just enjoyed his "lung treat" (he really likes it!
).
Earlier this morning Rusty had a good test (blue!), good shot, a hearty breakfast (first sitting and much of the second sitting eaten), a schmooze, and now a nap in his little bed next to the radiator. We are hoping that his dosecrease will kick in today. If not, he gets a little more fat added to his dose tomorrow.
It's a gloomy, damp, chilly day with a little light snow falling. Everything is icy from the rain yesterday. I may go to the PetsMart in Plattsburgh this afternoon for some freeze-dried chicken treats and a case of FF T&G. It doesn't look like a good day for x-c skiing or snowshoeing, or even walking (but we will do our usual 2-mile walk to the post office, as we do almost every day: gotta keep moving!).
Wishing you all a good day and continuing to keep Georgia and Judy in our thoughts. Also continuing to send lots of healing vines to all kitties and beans in need.

p.s. I talked to Roni yesterday and she is doing OK. Moonie found her ring (it had popped out of her hand and she looked everywhere for it and finally found it, quite a distance away, in the exact center of Moonie's cat bed).
