Happy Wednesday!
Well the Dell tech came over with parts again today to work on my laptop again. He replaced parts again but still didn't bring the right part! I have to call and speak to the in-house support to get the other part since this one is not covered under warranty! What a drag! I'll be doing that in the morning. I'm too tired now. Meanwhile I've been lucky that the computer has not quit yet waiting for the right part & I keep hoping it stays that way.

Racci is running high again today! She had a great appetite and has been eating close to test time so that has something to do with it but it's still very high even so. She's had all 5 'p's though and has been very lovable and sweet today, even saying hi to the Dell tech and crawling in his boxes to explore instead of hiding from a stranger. She just sat real prettily on the big chair, watching the tech work with her arms crossed and a serious look on her face. :smile:

I hope all are well today and those who aren't are feeling a little better.

How nice that she's tech-savvy enough to 'supervise' the computer technician! :lol:

Hi Josie,

Racci did a good job of supervising. I don't know what I would do without her help! :lol:

She's acting like she's starving to death again now so I'm going to test again and hope she went down a little more at least. Usually she's just hungry like this when she's low not high.

Sorry to hear your computer still isn't up to snuff, Melanie. Glad my Dell-hating son isn't here to give me all of the cons of owning a Dell. ;-) I do hope yours get fixed soon; I know it's UBER frustrating when they're acting up!

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I dozed off. :oops: :smile:

Rhiannon, This last part is only a battery so it should be here in a day and if we're right, I'll be up and running pretty fast unless I have to let it charge first which would take a few hours. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we're right.

The inside tech should have sent it along in the first place because we spoke about it possibly being the last problem since the overheating could have burnt it out. Then the outside tech would have had it with him today! Oh well, I can't complain about the service really. They've been out here twice and I only had to wait 1 day once and a weekend the second time and they replaced a bunch of parts, all on warranty.

Libby, I love my Dells. I have my Dell desktop downstairs that's about 9 years old and still runs great! It's just a little slow now since it's not up to date. The one I had before that was really old before I got rid of it too.The xps service is really good too.

Racci really was a sweet little helper. :razz: The tech couldn't believe how old she was when I told him. I was really surprised that she was so friendly today. Usually she keeps her distance from strangers. Her curiosity even got the better of her and she went over to check out the empty boxes.
