Good Morning LL! Look at my sweet Mary's numbers!! And we had a visit last night from mr greenie  WooHoo! We were in the middle of a bad wind storm and lost power so I couldn't celebrate online with everyone. Stayed up way late to make sure she wasn't dropping further. So happy with her numbers improving. She was a bit grouchy though last night but when we finally went to bed she came and curled up on the top of my head, making biscuits on my scalp (thankfully just cut her nails!) and purred and purred. What a way to fall asleep!!! cat_pet_icon

In regards to yesterday's condo:
Thanks Devon, as always for the well wishes! I hope you have a great day!
Julie- You gave me a good chuckle about the camel and the hump day commercial. I am the same way, "woop" "woop" love that commercial!!!
She has been having soft stools for awhile, that's why I got the florti flori. Food hasn't changed but sometimes (more than not) the color is like a creamy light brown, like the color you would think of if you imagined a potter working with wet clay. Thick, yet not solid -maybe like a frozen yogurt consistency.
I am getting full blood labs done this weekend when the vet does the blood draw for MSU.
Thanks Julie and I hope you have a great day!

Yea!!! MG keep it going!
Sending vines to all kitties and beans that may need them.

What beautiful blues for Mary Grace! You might try giving her a little canned pumpkin mixed in her food, it is a good source of fiber and a pre-biotic. digestive enzymes might help too. When we adopted Emma she had very soft stinky poo like you describe. She gets enzymes, probiotic and pumpkin every day and is a nice and normal pooper now!

Ann- thanks for the reply and suggestion. I will def order some enzymes and buy some canned pumpkin tomorrow. Like about a teaspoon? Or more?
Hope you have a great evening

Awesome greens last night Mary Grace!  Love the night time cat hat - she must be feeling good. :-D

I'm using babyfood squash instead of pumpkin in Neko's food - about 1/4 tsp in each of her main meals. You can start small and work up to what works. Some cats prefer squash to pumpkin, Neko likes either. I like dealing with smaller jars, although you could always freeze part of a can of pumpkin for later.

yay for green! so glad you are seeing some better numbers - it's a relief, isn't it?

i don't know about the digestive enzymes. sienne's a fan of getting a diagnosis first. i know a lot of people use them for their cats without having a diagnosis. you could ask the vet about it when you are in on saturday.

hope you keep your power on tonight!

Hey Wendy and Julie! Lovin the blues and greens. It is such a relief to feel that she is finally getting regulated..10u I guess lucky ten is her number!! Ready for some dosecreases now! Wendy, I will get the squash too, I like the idea of getting small jars. And Julie, I plan to discuss this with the vet but I feel like I have so much to discuss that it's all going to rambling. I'm trying to prepare ahead in what I need to talk about. We all know she's just humoring me with the high dose conditions tests. She already thinks that the amount if food I'm feeding Mary is what is causing her to be unregulated. I'm getting a full lab, assuming that covers a thyroid test, if not, should I get that too? I cannot stress enough how hungry she is, that has not decreased any even as her numbers have gotten better. And she was the one that suggested me giving her a third mid day shot of lantus, so I'm feeling doubtful in her knowledge. But I wanted the high dose tests done and her blood work but not banking on any consult to be helpful.
She was 109 at +4 staying up for her nadir. I'm soooooo tired.
Hope you both have a good night!

WOOT!!! Looks like you get to hang out at this dose for a while.  So nice when you get to take a break instead of going up as often. :-D If you really want to brag, you can go to your first post and select the  icon.

It's a good idea to put together a check list when talking to the vet. I've lost track of the number of times I've forgotten to ask about something or other. As for b/w, if you get a senior blood panel done, that usually includes the T4 test for hyperthyroid. My vet was humoring me about the high dose tests too. But willing to learn more about it when they came back positive.

Neko still has her appetite, but when her numbers are better I feel like I don't have to worry about my fingers getting nipped when I put the bowl down.
