DST: I want my hour back.... :-D We had everything adjusted by PM dose last night, and then... the bean oversleeps this AM :lol: :lol: . oh well - so we fix it tonight. shesshhhhh.... Mannie was in bounce mode yesterday AM. Pm cycle saw improvement - I went to bed with him in the upper blues, and was happy to see that he apparently stayed there during the night, posting a 145 this morning. YAY! And way to go Mannie! cat_pet_icon

:lol: :lol: I had to wake them all up this morning. Snoozeville for the troops, including Mannie - seems that they are not big fans of DST either. Mannie though figured it out first, and was already for testing when the bean finally got it together. I had furry purries which carried into breffis and shoot. Breffis was consumed with gusto, his clean plate club status remains intact. :cool: All the kitties here have gone back to bed, including Mannie - I had to wake him up for breffis #2 too. :lol: And what to do after such rude awakenings? Back to the nanner pile, which is getting its normal morning workout: chew slobber cuddle rub, and now snooze. Looks like it will be a laid back morning here in MannieLand. Works for me. :-D

Hi Michelle & Mannie,
I forgot to take yesterday's alarm setting off my watch and so we got up 1/2 hour too early!!! I HATE Daylight Savings Time when it starts so early in the year. It was pitch black this morning. We all went back to sleep for 1/2 hour, including Rusty.

Mannie's day is right on track. Nice amps and +1. Rusty surprised us last night by working with his nanner. Usually he ignores it and doesn't seem to turn on to catnip, but last night he was really into it. He even went and sat in Stu's basket, which he has never done before.

Hope you guys have a nice, restful day with a good walk, weather permitting. It's still snowing here.

Good morning, Mannie and Michelle!

Has the rain stopped? :-D Sounds like everyone in LL is having a weird morning, sleeping in or having to wake their kitties up! :lol: We will all have it back together in another day or two when we're used to it. I like it, because it means it is still light in the summer when DH comes home from work.

Nice job, Mannie, staying on the blue floor. Excellent! I think a laid-back day would be a good thing for everyone right now. We are all discombobulated by the time change, it seems. Have a wonderful relaxing Sunday!

I had just posted that it's been a rough morning and with the way I have been sleeping so hard in between testings, I've felt like I had been out partying all night but now I realize it's the time change. Geeeeeeeeshhhhh. I hope you guys get to have a nice relaxing Sunday. :-D

Hi Ella - yes! on the ADW order - that is good news. I hope mine will come as quickly. You will have to let me know what you think of the freestyle lite. I have heard good things about it - I like the fact that you can add more blood to the strip, within a minute, if the first is a bit short... might be a very nice feature. -- and so agreed on DST. and yay on the nanner - Rusty - Mannie is so proud! more snow for you - more rain for us...

Hi Violet - that would be a negative on the rain. another new storm system moved in last night off of the pacific, so it is pouring once again. welcome to March in the pacific northwest. :roll: :lol: --- and yes on having it all back together in a day or two. it usually is here too.

Morning Maria - I do so dislike the switch to DST. As hard as we prepped the week, with time adjustments for shoots etc, I still messed up this morning... :roll: Yep - I don't even remember the alarm going off this AM, know it did as it was turned off.... aiyee! :lol: :lol: and yep - looks like ti will be good for the rest of today... nice and laid back.

Oh look at what I'm missing while doing laundry. Mannie boy, you're looking good today. Michelle, that's great that your order from ADW came so fast. It takes Amazon longer, and Christie recommended ADW to me for strips. Also a little cheaper. So was that the meter you ordered and it already came yesterday? Maggie did not sleep in at all and I was up way before the chickens sing!

Hey Mannie, can you come and pick me up to go road cruisin. I've had enough sleep since I woke up the ole Bean early!

Hey Celi - yeah I have seen that one. It is funny. Well sorta laid back here... Mannie always is usually. He hears me getting the test stuff ready, comes in with that "again?" look, does his thing, and then back to the nanners and/or his bed. The boy has the right idea!

Hi Ann and Maggie - nope, my order is not here yet - it was Ella's that shipped that fast - I was impressed. I like the prices there - comparable to Hocks and some really good pricing on some things. I ordered meters and strips. I hope they come soon as I am so done with this stupid meter I have now....

Mannie is doing some wonderful things today -- surf, Mannie, surf! I did the stupidest thing this morning regarding DST. I had to be at church at 9:30 to practice some music and I kept complaining that it was actually going to be 8:30 because of the lost hour of sleep. So what did I do? I kept thinking 8:30 in my mind, so thinking I was late, rushed out the door and showed up at 8:30 instead of 9:30 for practice. What an idiot -- I could have been relaxing at home for an hour!
