It's been a while. He's doing REALLY well it's almost scary! I just decreased him down to 0.5u, basically because his BG's have been so low. As excited as I am to see these low numbers I feel like there has to be something else causing them?
 
How convenient to have them both on the same dose now! I wonder if it is going to be a race for you know what...
 
what do you mean you think something else might be causing the low numbers? Is he acting sick at all? Are you seeing something that makes you suspicious?

I'm sure hoping it's just that he's healing.
 
I'm actually taking him to the vet tomorrow morning. His breathing is weird, very shallow. He is fine other than that. Eating, playing, peeing/pooping, although poop had a lot of hair in it. He has been making the hairball coughing noise for a few days but nothing has come up. He really never throws them up. The past 2 nights he has not been sleeping on the bed but on the side on a blanket. This new vet we went to had mentioned he heard a heart murmur and neither the shelter or my previous vet had mentioned that so it has me on alert more so than if that was not mentioned. There was also mention of "lymph" ( I don't remember if nodes or something else) I just remember that it is something FIV+ cats are prone to so it was not that much of a concern but something to watch as well. Hopefully it's nothing.
