I am guessing it was Cookies fault for attracting attention. She had lots of energy last night - running up and down the stairs and meowing. When we went to bed, she was running up and down the hall. Bailey tried to chase her and she stopped and hissed at him and he walked off. About time too, she has claws and he doesnt and she is 3lbs heavier than him, but she is such a scaredy cat.
But then something changed. We are in bed and we hear this awful commotion, hissing growling and screeching. DH gets up to find Tiggy and Bailey had cornered Cookie in a niche on my desk and she couldnt escape. He helped her out. Its interesting though because Tiggy generally needs help jumping onto high surfaces and Bailey has never tried to go on my desk before so there must have been a real incentive there. Plus the two have never ganged up before.
After that Bailey was running around a little and Cookie came to bed.
Today we are going back to the vet with Bonnie. We may need to make the decision. We really arent sure if its time but want to see what the vet says. Wish us luck
