Morning everyone. Happy Caturday! Well Tori ate about 3 mouthfuls of a delectable combination of rabbit covered with Shreds of chicken. Then she went on strike and wouldn't eat anymore. I gave her about a 1/2 hour to think about it and then finger fed her the rest. SHe was not a happy kitty. She was even growling at me at one point. It was quite the battle of the wills but I did manage to get almost all the rest into her. So she got an adequate amount of food I think. Fluids were given without any problem. Mind you I think she was too tired to object too much. I know I'm exhausted.

I think I'll do the same as I did yesterday and just let her take what she wants at lunch and give us both a bit of a break - depending on what her sugars are doing of course.

This is just so hard. I'm really at a loss of what else to do. I'm trying to be patient but lurking in the background is also the fact that she needs her chemo. She hasn't had that now since the middle of January. The lump on the one side feels a little bit larger to me. Maybe it's my imagination I don't know.

Well I'm off to bed for a couple of hours. I have an appointment this afternoon so it looks like I'm going to get about 3 hours sleep. Last night at work was really busy. At least tonight with the time change we work 1 hour less. It makes the night go so fast. ANyway have a good day everyone. Please keep my baby in your thoughts and prayers. We need them badly. Will check in later after I get back home and see how everyone is doing.

Morning guys! At least she ate - I am sorry that this is so difficult, I know that it has to be. Be good little one, we all want the best for you. Eats your fuds, take your meds - it will make your bean very happy. As always Barb you and Tori are in our thoughts, with healing vines sent your way from me and Mannie and the KTSS.

Hi Barb & Tori, Tori, you've gotta eat, girl, so eat! You'll make your mamabean happier if you'll eat the nice foods she made for you. Barb, I hope that the day will improve. I think you're wise to just take it easy with her for a few hours. As for the chemo, it's probably better not to give it right now, when she isn't feeling well. What does your vet think?

Anyway, hang in there. We're thinking of you and Tori. Rusty will be along this evening with the KTSS.

(((Barb)))...you are amazing...all that you have going on between Tori and Daniel and working. We are sending healing and comfort vines to you, Tori, and Daniel and I hope that soon you will get some rest.

Hope you and Tori are able to get some rest tonight, Barb and that Miss Tori starts eating better soon.

Keeping you and Tori in my thoughts Barb. Assist feeding her will get her through this bump in the road - too bad we have no way of communicating this to them. Sending lots of hugs.

Hi everybody. Well her numbers have been very stable today all low yellows-almost blues. Considering the fact that I'm trying so many different foods that she has never had before and none of them are on Janet and Binky's list so I have no clue what the carb levels are I think we're doing pretty good. (Talk about a run on disjointed sentence. Sorry about that) At this point though I really don't give a hoot. I've even considered giving her kibble as long as she eats.

Actually she has eaten a bit better today. SHe nibbles off and on but what makes it hard is that her brothers, especially Malachi are waiting in the wings waiting to grab what she doesn't eat right away. When she sees he wants it she steps back just like she has all his life. Her kittens come first; always have and always will. She may not have given birth to them but they are her kittens.

At the moment she is sitting by her dinner dish taking the odd nibble here and there. I'm going to give her another 20 minutes or so and if she hasn't eaten at least a1/4 of it then I'll try and finger feed her. I have to go to work at 1030 so she needs to have something in her tummy. It's times like this I thank God that the Prednisolone keeps her sugars up.

So all in all it's been a better day. She sure doesn't like me assist feeding her. She actually tried to nip me tonight when I gave her her pills. I can't blame her really. I don't think I'd like it either.

Well I'm going to check in on as many people as i can before I have to take care of MIssy Kitty and then get ready for work. Have a good night everybody. Thank you again so much for all your support through all this. It means so much. Please keep the prayers coming. We've got a ways to go.

I told Tori that the KTSS was coming again tonight and she is really happy. She loves their visits. I told her though that they expect her to eat more. She said she would try and took a few more bites. One bite at a time. one hour at a time, one day at a time she's going to get better. Right?

I am glad that the food is slowly improving. I too would feed whatever she will eat. Protective of the others isn't she - letting them have what she needs. what a sweet kitty. and yep, one step at a time. she will get better.
