3/11 Shasta

WCR: All Ps in place. Got some snuggles last night, but only after I hollered at Her Sleeping Highness who fell asleep on the floor. When I crawled into bed, she was eating some of her nightly snack (she's such a loud eater)...so I waited...and waited...and waited. Then I noticed I didn't hear her slurping her food, so I called for her...nothing. I figured she had left my room. After a few minutes, I realized that she was still in my room, but sound asleep...I heard her snoring. Well darnit, she's not allowed to sleep in my room and not snuggle with me, so I hollered at her and woke her up (I figure that she's woken me up a few times the past few nights...so payback is hell!) She joined me in bed and we fell asleep.

She seems to be feeling pretty ok this morning. Her leg flicks/spasms are still going. I thought they were getting better, but they don't seem to be much better. I wish I knew how to draw blood from her (she knows how to draw blood from me! :-x ) because I'd really like to know where her Potassium levels are. :YMSIGH: Appy is ok today...nothing special, but not horrible. I just finished her can of Friskies Turkey Dinner in Gravy Prime Filets (she only gets a tiny forkful mixed into Fancy Feast) and I will open a can of her favorite Friskies Turkey & Cheese Shreds to mix in her fuds today. She should be super happy about that.

Woke up with a little headache this morning. My sinuses are going nuts with the start of pollen season and my neck and shoulders are really tight...adding to the stress headache that started last night. Seeing massage therapist today...definitely treating myself this week...3 visits w/ massage therapist and 2 visits with chiropractor this week. Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

A nice start for Shasta today. Blue! Your surf well little one.

I had alwyas wished there was some sort of an at home test for potassium levels too with Mannie. I hope Shasta is doing OK there.

Looks like Shasta is working her juice this morning! I LOLed at you waking her up for snuggles :lol: ! I agree....I think we are "spoiled" by being able to test BGs at home...it makes me want to be able to test for all their maladies and it's pretty frustrating that we can't.

Poor Shasta, being woken up, what a payback :lol: . I'm glad you finally got your snuggles, and hope that the head feels better soon . I think there should be a tester like glucose that can do other things too!
