Did Max get "off schedule" with fluids due to the problem you had getting them this week? I wonder if that might have something to do with the wonkier than usual numbers?

Hope the extra juice kicks in soon........not that he's getting bad nadirs, but I know you'd like better! (and to get rid of those higher numbers completely!)

He only missed one day of fluids. Then he had that day where he had trouble going and had accidents. That was Thursday. I'm thinking I should increase again.

I almost think it looks like he's clearing a bounce today. He's coming straight down from the 270 last night. Maybe not, but I'd continue testing this afternoon to see if he continues going down more.

I kind of thought so too but he doesn't usually bounce from such high greens, Julie. I'm at my mom's and won't get home until it's time to shoot. I guess I should hold off until tomorrow. I could also shoot a half hour early to get him back to his normal 6:30 tomorrow morning and see if that helps any. Then I could either take him up tomorrow night or Monday morning if I don't see good numbers. Just kind of thinking out loud what my options are.

I don't know if the respiratory issue is causing the higher numbers as he tries to fight it of or he's just declining. At least he seems more comfortable today. I'll take every crumb I can get right now.

You called it right Julie. I did double check. Then I tripped over a 42 pound bag of cat litter and landed with my face and knee hitting the wood trim of the hall door. I think I might end up with a black eye. Serves me right for not turning on the lights or moving the litter out of the entry way. I moved one of the bags but was too lazy to move the other. My cheekbone really hurts. I think my knee will be okay. I iced both and took some Advil. Then Max got his fluids and cat food. Hopefully I won't look like I lost a fight.:oops:
