This week has been a week I would like to forget ever happened. Got more drama last night at 9PM and of course can't get resolution on the weekend. So I'm going to do what I do all the time - SHOPPING. Mom and I are going shopping for a new dishwasher and a fish tank stand for the kitchen aquarium :lol: I love my mom, she's my best friend.

So I'll visit more condo's when I get back. And I'll be in a much better mood. Who wouldn't after shopping. For me it doesn't matter what I buy or where I browse. Just that I'm out of the house (I work from home).

Ah, retail therapy...with mom! It's the best, I agree. My mom is also my best buddy. :mrgreen: A new fish tank sounds awesome! I often wish I had room for one here. I hope the outing improves your frame of mind and eases some of the week's stress.

Karrie, so sorry your week has been tough. I can definitely relate and shopping is such good therapy. Happy shopping with your mom and hope your day is filled with sunshine. Good start for Maverick today.
 
Good morning guys ... sorry your week has been so hard .. this is a nice way to start the day, and then to finish it out with some shopping? Not to bad ... I hope you find the dishwasher and fish stand you are looking for .. have a great day guys!
 
I agree nothing like retail therapy love it I used to love to shop with my Mom so much really miss it she cannot walk much now so we only get out for lunch sometimes but we used to shop alll the time so many good times hope you have a great time shopping and get some cool stuff today :cool: :smile:

Hi Karrie, sorry you've had a bad week. I feel your pain but try and ignore the bad vibes from certain people. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work and I let them get to me. I'm sure your retail therapy helped out. Looks like Maverick started out great so that should help make ya feel a little better. I hope you have had a great Saturday. :razz:

Enjoy your shopping. I agree as there's nothing more fun than a shopping trip with my Mom and, of course, eating out, too, in the middle of the shopping spree. Hope this coming week will be be better. Nice start for Maverick!
 
I did have a great time shopping. Got a really cool shelving unit from IKEA on clearance. It will hold the 200lb aquarium (antijinx). Just waiting for DH to attach it to the wall, then will drain and move the tank.

Day would still not be considered a good day though HAHA. I've been suspecting DH has been smoking for a while and he continues to deny it. I was out cleaning my car and he came home from his RC car racing. I asked him if he had any garbage. He throws out his mcdonalds drink on the driveway and a lone cigarette but lay in the puddle. ohmygod_smile :lol: You should have seen his face all the while denying it. I didn't wig out. I knew. I'm not going to accept him smoking though. I lost my dad at 58 to cancer and it was horrible seeing him suffer. I bought my home from a man who died of lung cancer and his legally blind wife had to move because she couldnt live in the country without him. Just not going to put DH quitting smoking on my plate of things to deal with for now. Taxes, work, d***** ****, sick dog and Maverick take my capacity. And of course all the condo's to visit in LL :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Oh, Karrie! Quite a full plate you have going... hope that the retail therapy was therapeutic! Am so envious of your IKEA! I don't have one within reasonable driving distance, so usually I only get to buy things that will fit into a suitcase!

Hope you have a relaxing evening and figure out a plan to get DH to kick the habit!!
