Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wacky Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts always on the menu!

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday, that the day was been a good one. It was a breffis with my son day, go to Seattle day, and then a let the day evolve day. That evolution led me to the woods ans the sore here early on. The sun was out, more or less, the temps were up, more or less, and well.... couldn't say no to that so out I went, on a mini adventure. Here's what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! happy Tuesday evening! :-D I hope everyone has had a good day today. We did well here today: 62 reported high, under sunny skies. There were a few clouds early in, but the afternoon has been warm and sunny. Sure hope this continues for the next few days.... at least when I have the boys. Breakfast with Anthony was FUN! YUM! He had this thing called Very Berry French Toast. WOW: french toast covered with all kinds of berries and bananas, and a strawberry type glaze, topped with whip cream. That sure looked good. I should have had that - instead of my usual veggie omelet. and kitties - no, you may not have any of that french toast... We had a great time, and I look forward to when we meet up again in a few weeks. I went on a trail walk after seeing Anthony, as the weather was just too good to pass up, and knew I wouldn't be able later and still make Seattle. Sure was nice out. The skunk cabbage are starting to grow and bloom, a sure sign that spring is coming. Surprisingly Meadowdale Beach, and the woods, was really quiet, not alot of folks down there. YaHOO! Seattle was great, always nice to see Barb. City looked great under all that blue and sunny skies. Worked the yard a little when I got home, cleaning up all the winter crud. Blech, but at least the front looks a little better. Now I am tired... time to wind things up for the day. Have a great evening everyone!"

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part... When I got home yesterday I decided to unwind a little and ride the indoor bike for a bit. I've been trying to do more of that, bike riding, as I find that those few minutes really do make a huge difference in my energy level. anyways - I get on the bike, and start peddling away, remembering the last few times I did this, and Lola.... Would she? YUPP! Within a few minutes I had an audience. There she was, again, fascinated with the peddles. They go 'round and 'round, and so would her head.   Of course she did it again: I had a paw pawing at my foot as I peddled. Whack followed that. Then out came the claws - she was determined to grab that circling foot. Every time I explain to her that maybe she doesn't want to do that.... NOPE! Once again the claw got stuck in my sock, and around and around went her foot as she would not let go.    I eventually reached down and un-hooked her. Silly cat. Bug was still watching this unfold, and Elsa, per the norm, was nowhere to be found. She was outside enjoying the sunshine. Smart girl! A for sure case of Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I are off to swim this morning, while William spends that time at the other grandparents. We are due for some possible sunny weather in the afternoon, maybe we will get lucky and see that yellow thing in the sky. :-D HOPE SO! A trip to the park with the beach would be prefect for the afternoon. I will try and get to condos when I can....

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Morning Michelle .. I have to say .. the berry french toast sounds wonderful! Well, except for the bananas as I don't like them, but the rest .. mmm!! Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the nice weather yesterday .. The image of lola watching the peddles of the bike go around and her little claws catching your sock had me  have a great day!

Have fun at the pool today, I hope the skies clear and you get to take the boys out to play. Oh Lola! I can just see her!

Hi Michelle, Hope the sun is shining for you today :-D
Breakfast looked yummy, especially Anthony's! That Elsa is just too funny, but I really like to picture Bug, just watching and learning. I bet he is one smart kitty!
Enjoy your day with the boys :-D

Hi Michelle,
Now, THAT was a BREAKFAST!! Next time you'll have to order it! Anthony looks very happy. Your walk sounded good, too. Our skunk cabbage are buried in deep snow. I can't wait now to walk in the spring woods (before the blackflies emerge). But we heard the other day from an ice fisherman that the ice on Upper Saranac Lake (one of the large lakes) is 21 inches thick!! Spring may be a little while in coming.

Too much on Lola and the bike pedal. I don't let Rusty come down in the basement when I'm working out on the bike. He likes to get too close to the chain.

The chili is cooking and we'll be leaving for the potluck in a couple of hours.

Hope you are having a good swim day (and hike day?) with Nicholas and William.

Elsa, Kitteh Barista, the ~O) was really needed this morning.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

It sounds like yesterday was fun. I love the pictures. It's nice to see all the flowers. Spring will be here before we know it. Lola is such a crazy kitty. You'd think she'd learn not to grab your foot while you're peddling. I hope you got sun this afternoon.

You are brave...I'm surprised Lola doesn't flat out jump on the pedal with your foot! It sounds like yesterday was very lovely, even with cleaning up the winter crud.

I hope you and the boys had a wonderful day today (as if anything else is possible with those little cuties)! Have a great evening, Michelle!

Hi everyone! Thanks for the visits today. SO so appreciated. it has been a very longggggggggggggggggg day here, I have just returned home a little bit ago. The weather was so great that we all decided to stay out once we left the house. So.... ONE TIRED GRANNIE!  Please forgive me for not answering each post individually... I am just tired, nodding off at the keyboard.  We have had an awesome day here weather wise. It has been sunny all day long, 55-60, maybe even higher than that. we all just loved it. We decided early on that we'd swim, and then take advantage of all this sunshine. Off to Juanita Beach for the rest of the day. Gorgeous there too, a little breeze now and then, but wow on all that sun. I could get used to this.... :-D :-D :-D Pool was great today. When isn't it? Once again we did all we could do, closed out the morning session, and he would have wanted more, if we didn't have to pickup William. ALot of underwater stuff. The energizer fishie was energized. We had alot of swim attempts too, just plain fun. We did make Juanita beach after that, no nap. LOL on that: he crashed big time at 3:30. Beach and park time was fun. Both boys had a blast getting down and dirty, eating sand in William's case, making mud/sand pies in Nicholas's case. Fun times. I will post the Picassa link to the photos in tomorrow's condo.

Ella - YUPP - that was breakfast!! REALLY GOOD! 21" thick ice????
Amy - one of these days I will have a flying kitty!
Carla - THX on the photos- I agree - more flowers too!
Jane - It IS! LOTS OF SUN!!! :-D
Ann - we did: pool and the park/beach. Really a great day. LOL on Lola, huh. She is really something else.
Devon - One has to love Lola, and I am with you on those bananas, but Anthony say serve the up with pancakes or french roast and they are good. not too sure on that....
