I have been struggling to reduce. On 11 units I was feeding lots of carbs to stay in the safe range but the moment I reduce to 10.5 he’s back up in yellows. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Mady, sorry it’s a tricky situation with Egon and his dosing.
I’ll bet Wendy had some ideas about all of this.
Do you use calipers to set his dose? If so maybe you could try going in between the 2 doses to try to find the sweet spot (if it exists).

I hope you can find just the right Goldilocks dose 😻🌊🐈‍⬛🏄‍♂️

I guess I should have hung out at 11u a little longer
Wondering if I should give this try more time or if 3 cycles in yellow is long enough to go back up to 11u
 
You went from 11.5 to 10.5, probably too big a drop. You briefly had some in between doses there, but the 11.5 depot was probably influencing those numbers. I'd try an even 11.0 - no calipers needed. Or you could wait until the bounce is over and see where his numbers land.
 
Ok. That’s what I thought. Thank you!! We will try 11 today. Usually when he goes back up like this for more than 2 cycles he stays up and then I have to give him a big increase to come back down. Hopefully if I go back up to 11 today he’ll come back down without more increases 🤞
