I did not re-test her last night. Did not wake up!
Nice start this morning, and she pooped in her box, again!
I have a question for the psyllium husk: can it be mixed with her food in advance? I am going to be away (Montreal!) for 2 days next months, and I'm trying to make things easier for my son and our sitter.

Good girl, Bella, doing all the things as she should!
I'll be curious if anyone knows why you can or can't add the psyllium husk ahead of time...I add it when I mix the food with her supplements at each feeding.
Great question!:bighug::bighug:

I knowl that for humans, psyllium must be dissolved and should always be given fully diluted with water to prevent choking. (For humans, the jar also says to drink a glass of water after you take it! I don't know about when you give it to cats but I can't imagine not dissolving it in water or liquid? I don't know if you have ever seen what happens to Metamucil when you mix it but don't drink it, it gets really blob-like, like thick jello, it is disgusting! :confused:

Oh yes, of course, then either my son or our sitter would add water to the mix! I would never give it to her without water, yuck. I add one ounce of water to her food and the powder. The only difference would be that the powder would be mixed with the food in advance. It might jel, though. I will try tomorrow to see what it does.
