After a lovely little white foamy pukus, Alex had a fine start to the day. He only was a little bit 'growly pants' today, and let Jackson have breffis with him in the kitchen again and had no problem with it (Jackson can hardly believe his good luck at this because he is now in a world where there is a bowl of fud before and after Alex's shot...he thinks he's being rewarded for something)! Two happy cats at a time is one happy mommy :-D (and hopefully and end to the peeing on the bed problem) :roll:

All P's are accounted for and Alex is taking is after breffis nap now.

That's good - keep it up, so they can always eat together. It's important, after all, who wants to eat alone and locked away in another to boot.

Ya' got that right! lol. Now I have to micro feed Jacky even more(not that it looks like I micro feed him) so I can divide his meal into 2 servings (before and after shot) and allow or all the snacks all day so no one feels left out. :-D

ACK..I am a dweeb lol. i have wondered why Alex has been sky-rocketing when I have given him such small amounts of Karo with LC Or esp MC foods. WELL, I mixed up my foods,. I thought that the 9 Lives sliced beef with gravy was the same carb count as the Friskies SBWG..WRONG. 9 Lives is 24 and Friskies is 14-15. When I thought I was giving Alex MC this week, I was giving him HC. I was spiraling him up like that(not on purpose of course). I have now marked each and every can accordingly and put them on separate shelves.... :oops:

I found this out because at 4.5 today Alex was 114. I needed to go out for 3 hours and was afraid he was going to drop while I was gone so I gave him some LC mixed with a teaspoon or so of MC and came home to a bg of 226 at 7.5(I expected it to be around 100 or under) which was much too high so I started investigating....

At least I know what was going on now and it just goes to show that usually there IS a reason for everything that seems odd. ohmygod_smile

I love it when I have a solid explanation of why things went wrong. It allows me to be more perfect the next time. :cool:

Okay, Alex, let's see a PMPS that isn't higher than AMPS. You can do it!
