I'm not quite sure what's going on with him. He was reduced to 1.75 last week and we r dipping again! Another long night. Today's amps was 67, so I knew he was going to go lower after breakfast due to PM reading trends so I reduced him to 1.5...Sure enough, he is at 49 +1.5 so gave him 1 tsp FF gravy lovers chicken feast in gravy. What am I doing wrong? Is this pattern common? He was acting normal throughout with one exception...He is not bleeding as well for the BG tests. Has been very difficult to get enough blood to test. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you:bighug:

The higher depot from 1.75units effected the first half of the cycle . That lime though has earned him the reduction to 1.5units.

This happens to me too  when Cleo is surfing greens. You could try warming the ear more than you normally would do. I have had to rub her ear between my finger tips before the poke. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't o_O

Looks like that tsp of FF gravy lovers did the trick looking at his +2 :cat: Can you test again at +3 to see if he's still surfing the greens?

Great job managing the greens for Garfield. Congratulations on that reduction.
I hope he surfs safely for his cycle and you can get some rest.
You can also try to heat a pill bottle with warm water (test on your wrist) and use it to try to warm up his ears before poking. Or try a small sock filled with rice then microwave (test on your wrist so not too hot). :bighug:
