Zener just chased that black cat out of the yard! That cat better watch out. I'm going to get my skunk trap out and set it with tuna. Zener is fine this morning. His appy was a little iffy so I gave him some cypro and then he immediately gobbled down the next bowl. :roll: :lol: Well, the cypro didn't take effect that fast but it won't hurt him to be a little more enthusiastic about eating. Looks like he had a nice blue surf last night. Mr. P must be sputtering.

OT: Skiing was great yesterday. It was a beautiful sunny day and we got out early, before the madding crowds and before the serious melting started.

Thinking of Georgia and Johnny, as they grieve Cleo. Congrats to OTJ kitty Wink Wink! ;-) ;-) :-D :-D

ETA: GOOD GRIEF! There was another kitty in the yard! I saw Zener stalking something so I went out and clapped my hands. The cat turned and ran right at Zener! Surprise! I hope that scared him enough that he doesn't come back.

Love the traffic pattern through your yard. We went through a phase her too where our yard was the route that so many cats took on the journeys... saw all kinds of kitties following "the path". Some even came and hung out with Mannie for a bit, those he likes that is. It was just the oddest thing.... We used call that route of theirs kitty central. Keep defending that turf Zener.

Nice on the skiing!

Your backyard sounds like kitty mecca! When we lived in Brooklyn we also had a "cat highway" in our tiny backyard (along the top of the fence), as well as a "squirrel highway" (along the telephone wires). Alice would wait for her squirrel friend to come down to play (they really did play together!), but she ignored the other cats.

Z-Man, it's good you enjoyed your fuds today, and that's a very decent AMPS. Maybe a dip in the lagoon later?

it must be the time of year for kitters to check out the surrounding territories. We've been seeing a lot around here too! But a kitteh must defend what is his!

Morning Liz and Anne, oh no, the black cat has returned, and even another one. I saw a black kitty when I was leaving this morning. He was crying and then disappeared. I wonder if the black kitty has a home!
I'm glad Zener's appy returned. I'm glad you had some nice skiing Liz. I'll see what we can do about rain here and snow for you guys. I hope Zener slides down from the +6!

Zener is a wild one this morning! Two cats to chase, he must be feeling pretty proud of himself protecting his property.

We used to be the only house in our area without a dog so it was kitty walkway central. Not so bad now but we also have a black cat who likes to come upstairs and peer in the solarium getting the kitties all excited.

Skiing sounded great, I hope you get more days like that this season.

I hope those other kitties don't bother Zener and Tillie. It looks like a fairly flat day for Zener. Maybe he'll give you some green tonight.

Well, after 13 cycles on this dose, with only a brief green appearance 7 cycles ago, and stinky pinky tonight, we decided to fatten his dose up. We are reluctant to increase too much with his dental set for Friday, but we decided to give him a little more juice and see if things go just a bit lower. So, back up to f0.75u we go. If this PMPS was the high before a break, then the night duty bean is rested and ready to go.

@Melissa & Mr T - the mighty Z had a nice blue start this morning then BLECH. Paws crossed just a little dab more of the juice will get those numbers back down.

@Michelle & Mannie - a short blue surf today but no trip the lagoon to hang with the Manster. No more kitty sightings this evening...yet.

@Devon - Zener is very dedicated to the defense of his domain!

@Ella & Rusty - we think all of the bird feeders bring the kitty traffic, and on occasion, a sharp shinned hawk will hunt at our feeders! No lagoon dip this morning cycle, and new juice on board tonight.

@Ann & Tess - Zener agrees with you completely about defending what is his! No snow in the immediate future, but we could get more in March. Temps were in the mid-50s today so there are already big bare patches in our backyard.

@Ann & Maggie - we always wonder if kitty visitors have good homes, they usually look well fed and taken care of, but we do worry! Thanks for all the moisture, we needed it! No sliding for the mighty Z today. Darn.

@Wendy & Neko - Zener was delighted to have his chase on this morning! Not likely to have any more skiing after today's temps except high up on the mountain, but we could still get another snow before spring is fully here.

@carla - Z had a flat first half of the cycle, then up the express elevator. Another drop added tonight, so we shall see...

Appy was happy at PMPS and yard patrol was successful, followed by a classic happy crap dash! bcatrun_gif

He enjoyed the Blue Lagoon for a while today, Tomorrow, well only Zen Man knows :cool: :? :cool:

Thinking of you & watching from the sidelines..We have had some more upsets, but hey it's becoming the new normal--DH rushed to Texas as DFIL was critical & still is..house not finished,i had flu, otherwise,

Good luck with the dosecrease. I hope the dental goes well on Friday. I always get so anxious before the dental but it always goes fine.

We have lots of kitties that visit our backyard, too. We have Rosie (Simon's girlfriend), Camie (Simon's mini-me) and now the black kitty. I am kind of glad for all of them because they are distracting Simon and keeping him from being too lonely without Cleo.

Bummer on the stinkus pinkus. Buster didn't quite get that high, but he went zoomin up the scale, too. Must be something in the air. Buster thinks Zener needs to poop in all the corners of the territory - that'll keep em out! :lol: Good luck with the increase - hope you guys have a good night!!

@Roni - it's SO good to see you visiting Zener's condo. Your cheering must have encouraged him to dive into the lagoon. :lol: :mrgreen: We're sorry to read of more upheaval in your lives. I suppose there is always something worse, but it's time for the worm to turn for you and yours. Zener says so. :YMHUG:

@Georgia & Simon - wow, that's some quick action from one little drop. Hmmmm, makes me think that pinky was the high before the break. This dosecrease may not last long. So nice to read that Simon has many visitors to help him cope with the loss of Cleo. We are thinking of you each day.

@Tara & Buster - good grief! That stinkus pinkus didn't last long. I should have gotten a test at +4 but the night duty bean fell asleep on the floor. I hope I'm not fired!

@Deborah & Shasta - :lol: :lol: Zener is feeling a little shy about being a hottie!

@Wendy & Neko - gosh, you are so right. The night duty bean is busted in so many ways. The big guy just got two of his honey laced treats and his appy is very happy, so that's one less thing to stress about.

Looks like we have a Monday night PJ party.

Any thoughts on whether we should keep the fat on this dose? We just increased tonight so I'm not sure the numbers we are seeing are related to the extra drop. We've not had numbers drop in the same cycle as an increase before, so any suggestions are welcome!

Of the few times I've increased after SRT, it's always taken Neko at least two cycles to tell me when an increase was a bad decision. But I don't know if a bouncy acrocat is the best example.

Thanks Wendy, that does help. If he's getting too much juice, we will know soon enough. :?

Coming up at +6, will nap a little and get another test to make sure this isn't just a carb bump. @-) ~O) @-)
