It's a RAINY Saturday here. Going to hunker down today and keep trying to problem solve/explore some food and supplement options for Uncle.
Didn't post yesterday. All blues except for a 202 PMPS. Decided to increase to .5u. but I'm really into using the calipers and thought I'd get fancy and give him something between .33u & .5u.
I have been experimenting and found that .33 using my calipers yields 4 big drops and .5 yields 6 drops so why not try something in between (my definition of big drops is a drop that starts pulling away from and sliding down the needle tip from it's own weight).
Well, that seemed king of dumb so I'm just calling the new dose a skinny .5u. We'll see what happens, glad it's the weekend and I haven't made any plans.
Looking forward to catching up with everyone :coffee::bighug:

Someone has a lot of time on her hands!:p I was never that good at such things, so I actually am really impresses by this. It will be interesting to see how it works out. Work the juice, Uncle!

Hi Carol, thanks for checking in. He seems a bit shut down/uncomfortable. I wonder if he has stomach issues or a bit of pancreatitis. I probably should get a snap test to rule it in or out. His stomach is still makes gurgling sounds at times and since I switched to RadCat he is gassy (sorry you asked!). Not sure if he's just getting used to it or it doesn't (and won't agree with him). My vet gave me fermented raw goats milk when he went for the barium swallow and she saw a lot of gas in his stomach, but I stopped giving it to him because i read the label and it had honey listed as an ingredient. I just got some powdered enzymes from Amazon but now I see there is maltodextrin in it and I don't know if that is a no-no.
I'm really struggling with the food thing right now as well and I feel a little defeated.
