3/11 - Should I still feed LILY her usual small portions? She puked dinner tonight...

Lily puked her dinner tonight. It looks like it was most of the meal if not all. Earlier, maybe 5 hours ago she had diarrhea. I checked for ketones twice today and did not find any.

Should I still try to feed Lily the smaller portions of food I usually give her? I usually give Lily a small portion (1/4 cn of kitten FF) at +2 & +5 after insulin. I don't want to make her worse. Should I try to feed her a different kind of food?

OR do you guys think it is best to just keep an eye on her blood glucose and not feed her anything tonight?

Lily's Blood Glucose was 240 about 20 mins ago. I missed the +2 snack because that is when I saw she puked her dinner. I can still give her a snack at + 5...which would be 1/4 cn of kitten FF...

Is this a good idea or a bad idea? Lily has a history of pancreatitis and ketones in the past. She didn't show any ketones today.

I can feed her 1/4 can of glycobalance instead if that might be safer on her stomach.

I would still try to feed her but small amounts. Ketones is a combination of not enough calories and high BSL. How is she doing now? Has she puked again and is the diarrhea something that has happened before?

Lily's blood sugar was 245 an hour ago and 240, 2 hours ago. Now it is 227. I fed her 1/8 can an hour ago also. She was able to keep it down and was sleeping. I just woke her up to check the 227. Yes, Lily has had diarrhea in the past randomly at home (not a lot though) OR when she has been hospitalized with pancreatitis. I think I might go to bed soon. I am debating about feeding her another 1/8 of a can. I am so sleepy. I don't want to upset her stomach.

Maybe I will grab that 1/8 of a can again to try to put something in her stomach. Worried because she puked.
