Recap

Shishi diagnosed with pancreatitis, and hospitalized for dehydration and not eating. She is slowly starting to feel better thanks to the healing thoughts and proper symptom management.

I have switched her diet temporary to baby food turkey flavor, thanks cyn and cosmo.

I administer bupe as needed, and administered famotidine as per the vet. 5mg 1x daily. Due to her stomach gurgling constantly.

Vet suggested it is best if kitty gets fluids orally, and only sub q fluids if shes not drinking or eating. I am adding water to her meals, and she is drinking lots of water daily. 300ml +

She is peeing very excessively
pooping is formed but not perfect.
she does not play
she grooms only after eating briefly
she stopped purring again
and appetite is coming back slowly, will finish 40% of food at one sitting, and finish rest in 4 hrs.

Will --

If you think it will help to settle Shishi's grumbly belly, it should be OK to divide the dose of famotidine into a x2/day dose (2.5mg BID). I'm not sure how long the drug is active for but I've seen it routinely prescribed twice a day.

Given that Shishi is surfing in the yellows, you might want to consider raising the dose.
