We had to give punkin his insulin an hour early this morning because of the tsunami evacuation. great time to go to the beach, eh? So i dropped his dose from 7.5 to 5.5 and am assuming i should go back up to 7.5 tonight. Is that right?
i gave it to him at 6:30am - could i just keep it at 6:30pm tonight and tomorrow morning, in prep for daylight savings time change anyway?
Also, he's off on his food because we sat in the car inland for 4 hours waiting for the tsunami waves that haven't really materialized here on the Oregon coast. they still might, but we returned to the beach house. we're right on the ocean, literally, probably 25 feet vertically above the water, but out on a bit of cliffy promontory and nothing between us and the beach horizontally.
i gave him his usual food at +3, but he barely touched it and then finished it when we returned to the house, probably +4.5. so i expect the numbers will be off for a while.
going to update his SS now.
