Moe is feeling a little off this morning. He vomited a little clear liquid overnight. Ate his first breakfast, about an ounce, then went back to his bed. He usually hangs around and is looking for round two of breakfast by now.

Here’s hoping we see better numbers today.

Tested for PMPS. Left ear = 577. What the heck? Huge jump from +10. Re-tested on the right ear, 499. Tested again on the right ear: 584. Now I don’t know whether to trust any of my testing results.

He ate about an ounce of Friskies Turkey and Giblets at +10. Could that have made his glucose jump more than 300 points?

It is good to limit the amount of carbs they get after nadir. The insulin is slowing down then, and carbs will just put the brakes on it’s action. That limits duration, which can cause the numbers to shoot up.
