Hi all,

Meme is doing well on drop dose, the high number before seems to be from upset stomach , she theough up hairball and the next day theough up hairball again then she did not poop for two day now, that is why her numbers going little up sometimes.

What can i do, i so not have hairball remedy, the told me to give little olive oil. My friend told me that hairballs cause constipation sometimes. Is there anything i can give her or should take her to the vet?

Thank you she just pooped. I had to gave it to her by syringe because she did not eat the food when i mixed it . But her stool little hard i will continue give it to her for few days.

Everytime i feed her

we split it up 2X a day, 1/4 tsp each tyme,but we just started half a tsp. He was getting 1/4 tsp once a day.

Good luck . There are many diff remedies. Sometimes the hairball remedy is enuf to get things moving.

vaseline helps things slide out and some like it (Dre licks it off my finger) but also Natural Moves works really good and no side effects.

I tried olive oile and baby pumpkin food which seems worked.

This site is intresting, did you try this remedy? Does it work well!!

Dre gets 1 Natural Moves capsule a day to keep him regular-most cats get much less but he is almost 20 pounds and his stool is not loose at all with the whole cap. If he has been licking vaseline we skip the NM

I wish he would eat fish oil or some sort of essential fatty acid but I think at 18 he has decided that is not going to happen my little boogar face

I use Natural Moves as well...I have to mix 1/4 capsule in water and syringe it down Elmo because he won’t eat if mixed in food . I like it cos it’s natural and has kept him regular for 9 months

I was using Natural Moves for a while and it did help but, Bubba hates the taste of it so I stopped when I added some other things to help. I might retry it again. But, here's what I learned. Hair balls are not normal for cats to throw up. If their digestion tract is healthy, it can handle the hair they swallow when grooming and pass it in their stools. I started Bubba on Egg Yolk Powder and after we first started, he had one more hairball and never again! Anti-jinx. Also, I have him on a maintence dose of Slippery Elm Barb ( SEB) 1/8 tsp twice a day and 1 tbsp. of George's Aloe Vera Juice. Both of these things are keeping him moving and not vomiting.

When Bubba is constipated, his numbers really jump up!
