Last night he headed up and stayed up. He seemed more comfortable. He even purred a little and let me brush him a little. No more out of box issues or tiny amounts in his box. The balls are smaller but more normal in size actually so far this morning so maybe this is not an infection. Anyone have a crystal ball I could borrow since the labs and my vet can't find a cause? I don't fault him but I do the labs.

I gave him less fluids last night to see if that helps as 150ml seemed like a lot. He got less than 125ml. Hoping his mystery ailments disappear and no new ones show up. My vet is not available after 12:00 and returns Monday morning.

I would not be surprised if he was having spasms and the bupe helped as a UTI would not clear that fast. I'm so glad he's improving....it's the great nursing care he gets.

All I can think is his problems are causing high BG. Last night I thought he was back on track. Not. Is he bouncing? New dose wonkiness? This stinks.

I'm glad Max is doing somewhat better. I understand the frustration of not being able to figure out what is wrong.

I'm surprised the vet had you give all 150 mls at one time. The oncologists at UCD told me not to give more than 100 in a session, so we gave 100 in the morning and 50 at night. Of course, Max is bigger than Minka was, so may be that is the difference.
