Morning and looks like Maggie is off to a good start. All P's in place except lb. She was very playful very, very early this morning! I think I will send her over to one of your homes for some play dates, as she only has me for play time, which is okay with me. I just dropped off my car to get the A/C repaired, plus inspection, so hope it's not too expensive. Vines and prayers go up to all the kitties not doing so well today and for all those people and their pets affected b y the tsunami and earthquake.

Good morning guys ... a very lovely start indeed! Isn't it wonderful when our kitties just want to play? Mocha is playing so hard these days, it's really funny to watch ... I hope your car repair is not to expensive .. have a great day guys!

Maggie was hungry after this 80 bg. She even ate the Wellness chicken which I now mix with the FF Seafood Feast. One thing I notice with her food is that she loves it freshly opened. I place the unused portions covered in the frig, and she sometimes won't eat it until I open a fresh can. I tried microwaving a bit, not microwaving and adding some warm water...any of your kitties do the same!!! confused_cat

I actually add warm water to the cans & get the food moist-- Then to their plates & squish!--Mix in meds..

Hi Ann & Maggie, Wonderful numbers, and on the Alpha Trak too!! Keep up that playing, Maggie!! When I open a can I empty it into a small plastic container with a good fitting lid and mash it up. Then I serve some in Rusty's dish and put the rest into the 'fridge. The next time I mix a little warm water into the food after it is in his dish. If there is still more in the plastic container it goes back into the 'fridge. I usually have 2 different foods open at the same time and find that the plastic containers keep the food much fresher than just putting a lid on the can. (But Rusty still prefers a fresh new can!!)

Stay away from the water's edge today!! Do you live near the coast?

Sadi is the same way & always has been.. addicted to the crack of the can.. will not eat refrigerated or microwaved food. I have covered it with the plastic lids, put in Glad plastic containers, everything. 10 years later I have given up.. unfortunately it is very wasteful AND expensive :YMSIGH:
Baby eats raw so no worries there...

Good luck with the car repairs - hopefully its a nice surprise and not the other way around. Love that Maggie is so playful. Maverick is too (right after needles). Instead of getting rewarded with chicken bites, he gets rewarded with play. The insulin I think is like an energy booster for older kitties?

Maverick will not eat food out of the fridge or after its dried out... and he's a freefeeder which makes it even more difficult. I have to put the right amount of food on the plate or he won't eat well (too much or too little - no eating). And it has to be in perfect bite sized pieces (no mush or too small or too big). But hey, he eats so I'd rather waste than worry about him not eating.
 
hi guys! oh yes on the fresh can! Sometime I can get the civies to eat it if it's been warmed... most of the time not. Then there is Mannie who will eat anything anytime anywhere cold warm hot or frozen. :roll: :roll: :roll: shesshhhh!

nice numbers for Maggie today, as always.

I hope the car repairs went ok... :-D
