Good Morning: I spoke with Kelly a few minutes ago. Katie is still running a fever of 104. She is in surgery now. They did an MRI yesterday and found an abscess and are draining that and debriding in now. Katie maintained yesterday. That is very encouraging. All your prayers, vines, snowflakes seem to be helping. THANK YOU.

I will update when I hear from her again. I'm encouraged by this report. Hopefully dealing with the abscess will be the turn around.
 
I know we were AWOL yesterday ... that's b/c DBF & I were out fencing til way after dark. All day, while I was working outside, I felt really close to nature & for some reason I could not get Katie out of my mind. I prayed and prayed and prayed for her all day long. Tie off a fence post, say a prayer. Pound a pole, say a prayer. Move the tractor, say a prayer. It went on and on like that all day long.

I am so thrilled to hear this positive report today and prayers and vines and snowflakes continue to come her way from down here in Louisiana.

Good news! Keep fighting, Katie. We know you can do it. Sending healing energy to Katie and strength to her family.

That IS good news...hopefully finding the abscess will take care of the root problem and there will be better, healing days ahead for Katie!
 
So happy to see some good news for this girl and her family! It's about time, and I hope it only get's better from here on out!
