The Mirtz has worked and he is eating. Only had to do a couple hours of excessive meowing and then curled in and purred all night. Good numbers today. Took 1 more out of the syringe.

Safe surfing everyone.

He has eaten quite a bit today which seems to be helping keep the curve flat. Maybe should of kept that second drop???

Picked up some raw bison today. Will sew about switching him...if he will go for it.

Has anyone heard that cats with pancretis should only get 10% fat or less? That is what the girl at pet store said today. Uses that rule for her dog with pancretis.

Yup, that's a guideline for dogs, not cats. From Marje's Primer on Pancreatitis:
Nutritional Support: Previously, it was thought that cats with pancreatitis should be fasted or put on a low fat/high fiber diet. Current treatment has deemed this unnecessary. Some internal medicine specialists believe a cat with chronic, recurrent pancreatitis might benefit from a low-residue diet. It is important to discuss the dietary needs with the vet but it is typically trial and error.

Nice flat cycle today. You say you took one more out of the syringe, but the dose listed on the SS is the same.

but the dose listed on the SS is the same

I thought I changed that, thanks for letting me know. SS corrected.

Right, he really hasn't had a recurrence since we started him on the meds, he hasn't vomited or had really flat puddles of poop. Had some goopy days as we ran through all the different types of food but nothing recently.

Did pick up some raw bison today. Was thinking it may be the easiest one for him to "take to".

Low residue? So low ash?
