Good morning,
We had 2 very nice cycles yesterday. Plus she’s been eating from her feeders mostly for her snacks. She must be more comfortable being back in her Ivy condo downstairs.
She did make her way upstairs back to my bedroom for naps in her favorite comfy chair for the day yesterday

Note in this close up you can’t see all the scratching she’s done to the edge of my lovely chair (she thinks it’s a scratching post) :blackeye:

Hoping for a quiet day of work today. No contractors scheduled so it will be lovely for Ivy and me :cat:

And beautiful cycles yesterday! She's liking this dose! So many more greens and blues :D:cool: and more consistently!
It makes me very happy to see this trend! Go Ivy!

Looks like a sunny start for our sweet Ivy.
And she's been doing so well. And of course she loves her pink chair, just like Nestle loves his pink chair haha :p

We wish you both a peaceful day (with no construction and banging around)

CUUUUUUTE!!!! I purposely got leather, but low key I wish I had fabric couches to "let" the cats scratch wherever they want. ha ha ha

Yea, we had fabric upholstery before we had the this little terror who refuses to use her cat scratchers. She prefers nice furniture instead. (Not anymore)
We also have leather couches, which she’s never put a claw to! (I guess that’s good, right?)
I refuse to replace anything right now…since she’ll only destroy it. ;)
 
The webmaster or whoever does all the behind the scenes stuff to keep the board running. I don't know how easy it would be to add more emojis.

And there’s the big old pink bounce after a beautiful cycle. I guess she earned that one. Just hope the drop isn’t so harsh!! :arghh:

Here is a tiara for Ivy, I tried to find a pic with more of her coloring but this was the best I could find. Hope you and Ivy have a calm night :bighug: :bighug::cat: She looks so cozy in her chair :cat:

Omg, Diane. This kitty is sooo cute! Like a short-haired version of Princess Ivy. Similar markings and her white mask. Great job!!

Well Ruth, sadly, I’m a bit happy to hear your cats also do the same and ignore the scratching posts and use the chairs (sad for you, like me to have furniture destroyed though). But glad I’m not alone in failing miserably to control her scratching. :blackeye:
And I’ve tried so many things from double sided tape. Spraying the sofas and chairs to make it unappealing to her (ha ha she laughs) to using clear packing tape where she likes to scratch.
She’s actually made it a sport where I put the clear tape up and she pulls it off. We can hear her from across the house, pulling the tape off and then sometimes she ends up with it on her stomach and walks in like a turtle crunching. :p:p
She’s just got her own mind of what she’s gonna do no matter what or how I try to out smart her. She always wins :)

This is just to funny , I needed a laugh today :p Tell her if she doesn't stop scratching the furniture I'm going to take her tiara away lol
