3/11 Hershey - NEED 8:15AM DOSING ADVICE

I've been trying to make sure all of the numbers make it to the original post. At +13 (251), 1 hour after eating. Am going to retest in ~ 5min

She was always in good hands with you. You're rapidly becoming a mini dose expert!

251 is high enough to shoot. .6 on 259 gave you a 60. And the long duration looks like Mr. P may be flitting around.

You could play it safe and get a nap in by shooting .3 or .4? What are you thinking, Libby?

+14 (270) - Not sure what I'm thinking @-) I know I could shoot a smaller dose, but I want to get to a normal schedule by Tuesday and that doesn't leave me a lot of shot times to move up. I've never moved his by more than :30 at a time and usually don't like to go more than :15 at a time, since I never know about him.

I hate to skip it altogether, because of those dreaded black numbers. I want to keep him safe and progressing now and safe while I'm gone next week.

Thanks, Catannc - Have a great day!

The truth is that he is pretty unpredictable. You aren't going to "ruin" anything by switching around the time to fit what you need. If waiting a few hours will help the schedule, he is likely to be in the 300s somewhere and you can shoot that. If shooting now will completely mess you up, I would wait. It's only one number.

I think I'm going to shoot .5u and just figure out how to adjust his shooting time as best I can for next week. His numbers have been looking so good... I hate to wake him for his shot, he sometimes gives me a hard time if he's not eating - here goes

It's a little higher than I'd go, but you know Hershey better than I do, and I get it about not losing momentum. It's sounds like you will be around to monitor (between naps? )

I shot the .5u or maybe a fat .4? It isn't so easy to get loose skin since he's filling out (everywhere but his hips) unless he's bent over eating. Anyhoo - he moved when I stuck him, so I hope it went in. I thought he felt a little damp afterward, but that could be my paranoia. ;-) Doug said I'd KNOW if it was a fur shot because he'd be noticeably wet, but with so small a dose, I'm not convinced.

Yes, I'll be around the rest of the day and Doug will be home in a few hours in case I'm CATatonic! (I'm SURE that's funnier to the sleep deprived!!)

Not sure where Robin is right now, but she had asked me about doing a curve yesterday - so, maybe Hershey was just obliging her

Now, to figure out how to adjust his shot time...but, first...a NAP - night all

Yikes, talk about a day late and a dollar short!

Now that things have settled down, going forward I would take .2u off of your scale, please post the new scale on your ss, hopefully that will help even out his cycles, although that won't stop his P from showing up and throwing things off.

Please keep testing today (after your nap of course) so we can see how he's doing.
