Yesterday's Condo

After a very flat, blue day yesterday, Cinco decided today was a good time to jump into the lagoon. Of course, he would practice cliff diving when I had a busy morning and wasn't on hand to test at the usual time. Don't know if he went lower before that 55 or not, so no reduction earned, darn it. However, he's been doing so well lately that I'm hoping it's just a question of time. I'm confused by the fact that he's on the AB again, but doing so much better with his BG than during the last round of treatment. As Chris would say, I guess he's just being a cat! confused_cat

I decided last night that I would call the vet today about Minka's eyes. I checked them out when I fed her this morning, and they were normal and drip-less! Yay! I'm surprised, because if it is allergy induced, the major winds we are having today are enough to make anyone's eyes water (including mine). Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, however. The bank account appreciates not having to pay another vet bill!! :-D

Sending thoughts and prayers to Rebekah and Tonya as they deal with their losses, and healing vines to Chris and Rachel and anyone else that needs them! :YMHUG:

Cinco wanted to hang with Chyna again so he came all the way down   . Good boy, you keep surfing now! It's awesome that he's doing better on the ABs this time. I know, you'd think predictable like last time but no...

I'm glad Minkas eyes look better! Chynas do sometimes too and then other days they (well the left one mostly) waters more, but we're going in anyways so I may as well have them looked at. I'm sending some scritches to all your critters :-D . Have a good day, Tricia!

Nice greens for Cinco today. Is the AB the same as last time? Different ABs have different effects. I'm glad Minka's eyes are better today. :-D

Wow, what a dive for Cinco - way to keep MamaBean on her toes!!

Thanks for adding a comment to Trix's FB picture. I should have posted my response yesterday, when they posted her picture. I added on, too....more than anything, so many people think of FD as a death sentence. Even Trix's vet said that she has taken in 5 diabetics because owners wanted to put them to sleep. She treated aggressively, got them OTJ, and found them good homes. I can't stand the throw-away mentality.

Have a great night, Tricia!

Re: 3/11 Cinco PMPS 228

Yeah, Rachel. Cinco said he had so much fun in the lagoon with Chyna that he hopes to see her there again soon. I pointed out to him that it's easier to get there if he didn't start from such a high point. We'll see if he at least joins her on the blue floor this evening. :-D

Carla, it is the same AB. I guess it's a pretty good one, and the best one for Bartonella. Since we can't be sure that this inflammation isn't a recurrence of the previous infection, the OV felt it was best to use the same AB.

Yes, Liz, I love that green, too! Funny that I never liked green much before FD put a whole new spin on it!

You're welcome, Amy. I just want as many people to know about FDMB as possible - if it helped us so much, how many more people could be helped if they knew about it? I agree about the throw-away mentality. People like that should be banned from having pets. I once knew a guy that had a healthy, beautiful Rotweiller. He was transferred for his job and decided it was too much trouble to take the dog - they were going to have to stay with family for a couple of months - so he had it put to sleep!!! :o I was never able to look at him the same way after that. I also wonder what kind of vet would do that - better to take the dog and find a rescue organization for it! People!

Hmmmm. Flat yellow kitty going up. No suspicion of a fur shot at the time it was given, but now I can't help but wonder. confused_cat Oh well, at least I can go to bed tonight without worrying about him! ;-)
