Hi all,
I gave Arya a tablespoon of soulistic chicken pate with probiotic and she threw up once overnight and had diarrhea once. Previous night on half a 5.5 oz of chicken and turkey pate she threw up three times and had diarrhea twice. Any advice/food recommendations I can try? Do you think it's an allergy? For background/ingredients:

Previous dry food that did not make her sick (minus the diabetes etc of course): https://www.performatrin.com/products/performatrin-ultra-grain-free-recipe-cat-food/

Current dry food that basically does not make her sick: https://www.orijen.ca/foods/cat-food/dry-cat-food/fit-trim/

Wet foods I've tried:

Sorry I don't have any advice on switching from dry to wet food Katie but I'm bumping your thread up to the top to get more experienced eyes on it. :bighug:

Could you provide other links to the wet food you've tried? We don't have Petco in Canada and their unfriendly web site won't let me look at it. Too funny given the dry food you are feeding is made in Canada.

All I could suggest is trying a novel protein, something like lamb, duck, venison, quail, rabbit. Check the ingredients list, so many companies put multiple proteins in their food. Or maybe try some freeze dried raw food? Still has crunch and lower carb. And you can get novel proteins.

It's just strange because it doesn't seem that different from the dry food which has chicken and egg in it? I can go and look tomorrow for freeze dried raw food though I did see that on the shelf or a novel protein wet food. It's sad because she's very into eating it - eats it all quickly/happily but then gets sick ☹️
