    Good Morning LL!

    WCR Only 4 Ps so far this morning. Sanitized the LB yesterday and maybe she doesn't want to mess it up :lol: Tess was scolding us early this morning, wanting breffis an hour early. Right now looking for birds as the earlier fog has lifted. Ann went btb right after the shot. Can't blame her, it was a late night. Looks like Tess is doing the bounce that we expected last night. I think Tess saved one low number for last night because Ann missed yesterday by being in class. This appears to be a good dose, but maybe a half drop too high :roll: More later,

Tess is very happy kitty despite the number, running around and jumping all over. I'm w/ Michelle and blaming the meter, I need to call the rep and complain. Maybe get hin to send met new Maxima meters.

Beautiful cycles yesterday and no wonder mamabean is tired!!! Hey...I am totally in agreement with shooting through the bounce for whatever it's worth :lol: :lol: I'm wondering if Tess is actually going to bounce today....kind of looks like she had a food spike and might decide to come back to blue???? Paws crossed.

Wow on yesterday: it was great! I can't understand why you're tired!!!

I just ordered the FreeStyle Lite kit combo (includes a box of 50 strips) from American Diabetes Wholesale ($34.99). This is the meter Libby was so happy about. Their prices are very good. I need a backup meter that's a different brand from the one I use day to day (Relion Micro). ADW also sells a box of 100 strips for $51.99. That's a bit higher than the Relion Micro strips ($40 for 100), but not so high as many on the market.

I hope that this bounce will clear quickly. Rusty wants to come and sit in the sun before the KTSS heads out later.

Tess had a pretty flat day today and is clearing the bounce tonight I think. We took the reduction and also started advancing the time for DST adjustment, so it may be canceling itself out.

Barb, we're just sluggards here in CA. Tonight Tess's shot was at 6:45pm, it had been 7. Figure in the time difference and it's 9:45 east coast time, half of LL is heading to bed already! :lol:

I got distracted tonight by an article in New Scientist. It's about new studies for treating diabetes w/ glucagon suppression rather than adding exogenous insulin. Sounds promising. :-D

have you decided what you will do about the infinity? We haev a walmart close by - i may go with the relion.... the freestyle lite is getting really good reviews from folks here - i like the fact that it takes little blood, not too sure on strip price though. i still like my maxima!! simple, easy to use, no un-needed bells and whistles....
