Good Morning, Everyone,
We are hoping that Rusty will clear this bounce (if it is a bounce) today and get back on track. I want to take his dose up a drop, but not until it is clear that this is indeed a bounce and the bounce clears. His numbers have been so inconsistent for the last 3 weeks (the tests at the vet followed by the trip to NYC, followed by starting Allerplex).
Rusty had a good night last night, breathing well and sleeping between his beans. The only disruption was a small vomit about an hour before we got up. I think he ate too much yesterday (big appetite yesterday)! He's fine now. I served him a somewhat smaller breakfast (all eaten); we had a good test, good shot, and--2 hours later--a "lung treat". Once again, he ate the Allerplex readily in a little baby food and water. Second sitting of breakfast has been set out, but Rusty is busy now sitting on the radiator observing the deer. Later, when it warms up, we'll go outside.
The beans are going to a potluck birthday/anniversary party this evening, celebrating all the Feb. and March birthdays and anniversaries in our little group). Edward baked a big Hungarian potato bread yesterday and I am about to make the Liptauerkäse, which goes great with this bread (although it is not exactly healthy, being comprised of butter and cream cheese (with onion, caraway seed, paprika, mustard, and capers)).
Wishing you all a fine day.
