Delayed bounce? Whatever. All I know is that Miss Polly does not like being pink. Whew, she was a sluggish, leave-me-alone little girl at that PM+9 test last night. Had to get a step stool to reach her at the top of the cat tree for that test. No way she was coming down on her own. Very unusual for a girl who usual thumps to the floor and trots to the testing spot no matter what time of day or night.
Big sigh at that AM+3. Bigger sigh at AM+6.5.
Sad day here. A dog at work was crossed this morning; he'd been declining for some time now, but his loss was a major transition. He was the last surviving dog from the pack I met when I started working at Best Friends 13 years ago. Many dogs have come and gone; many cats, too. But Jeffrey was one of the originals. The last of the originals. Hard to see him go. Hard to see his people with such hurt hearts.
A little nap. A long walk with the dog. And Miss Polly, a good night's sleep. Tomorrow will be brighter!
Vines and wishes.

(I miss some of the emoticons from the previous board...) Back to the grotto, Polly. I'm very sorry about Jeffrey. It is so hard to lose them, even when you know they have been well loved and cared for. Big hugs to you, Marilyn.
Many blessings to his humans.
