Good morning friends,
It's been a little while and though I don't pop in as regularly as I used to, my thoughts and vines are with each and all during the joys of OTJ and the tender sorrows each time one more of our beloveds join the GA chorus.
Extra healing vines, too, for Les @Gussie's mom during her recovery from surgeries this week.
We are amidst fast falling snow this morning, the first snow storm in...hmm...over a month? Up to 6" is forecast for today with more to follow early next week. The snow-crested limbs of our old Hawthorne tree today evoke early Japanese wood block prints.
This morning full of kitten memories of Sootie and her sisters and the first time they discovered snow. Sootie loved to leap into, become invisible and then pop out of snow drifts with such glee.
Everyone is hunkered in today. Dancer had to sample the fud dishes before settling in. Bella and Azalea are surveying the snowflakes from their respective favorite window perches. And Spunky was chattering and monitoring snowflakes as if they were birds in flight just beyond her reach.
Azalea had two vet appointments earlier this week: at regular vetty who hadn't seen her since just before the dental surgery. And another followup with our dental specialist. We're continuing prednisolone EOD for another month and resuming AB pulse dosing (clavamox) , this time two weeks on two weeks off. Have been including Probiotics and her supplements in her food all along but stepping up the probiotic up while she's on AB.
She's eating well, she gets more steady each day and the characteristic spring in her step has returned. She's not as interested in liver shakes 'appetizers' lately, but does like to have some prepared raw in her daily diet. That's a big plus!
Here a couple of photos of Azalea this morning.
With vines for a gentle day for all,

Sina and Sootie's Tribe
