Previous Week.
I was planning on switching Mikey to Levemir on Saturday, but then I squirted too much Lantus out of his Friday PMS and didn't have enough Lantus left to give the full dose. ohmygod_smile
Michelangelo's numbers have been slightly better on the Levemir. I think the dosage might be too little? Should I increase yet?
Overall, however, Michelangelo himself has been doing much better! I used to "deal" with this issue twice a day, every day, where he'd flinch or cry from the shot and give a swipe or bite at me for hurting him. He hasn't done this once yet!
His skin twitching and rolling has also gradually subsided and so far today, his skin hasn't rippled at all. He's also become more social all of a sudden and allows me to pet him for longer periods of time. I kept on swearing that it was the Lantus that gave him hyperesthesia and I feel like I'm starting to see evidence that I was right. It's still only three days in on this, so who knows what might happen the further we go along, but there are BIG DIFFERENCES so far, even if it's not yet reflected in his numbers.
And because I haven't had a Henry story for a while, this weekend, Henry has been in a lizard-killing mood. He caught one lizard, which my brother rescued, then he caught the lizard below, which did not do so well. Then, just a few minutes ago, he was attacking something in the grass. I investigate and it's yet another lizard. :YMSIGH:
