No joke! After a partial shot last night, I figured it would be worse. nailbite_smile
Lucian and I went btb, both after his +6 last night and then again this morning. He has been in bed with me the whole time, since I went to bed last night, although I'm sure he got up for LB trips, etc. Been many months since he did that.
Here's another surprise, he purred thru the last test, I was amazed.
I am a 'hurtin' unit' today, after all I did yesterday. Gotta get it together and finish up today.

The high winds today is causing power to be iffy so I also opted to go crawl back into this morning and just nw dragging my hiney back up to get awake enough to test and feed here shortly. Then maybe on and off for awhile this afternoon since I have had it with this computer and gonna drag my old one out of storage and reset it up. :roll: Bought this one about 2 years ago from a rent to own place and it has been nothing but a problem...so far 2 new hard drives and now it just randomly shuts down for no apparent reason...I got it to save space as it is one of those all in one jobs...Now I will gladly give up that extra space on the desk for one that actual stays on. :-x

I hear ya on space, that's why I've had laptops for the last 10 yrs.
Never take them anywhere anymore, don't need to, but I can use my small desk instead of the big one and I prefer that. The big one is a catch all :lol: that I really need rid off, but have no place for stuff.

Mel, now with Lucian's dose, we hold it until he either earns another reduction or shows need for an increase right?
I don't understand why the need usually keeps going lower, is it because the pancreas is healing and producing a little more as we go along? That's what we hope for right?
Not quite wrapped my head around the why's yet. @-) Some cats will continously need less until they are off the juice and some will always need some, correct? Either way is fine with me as long as he's healthy, happy and not hypo'ing and shooting sky high.

This one might be fine if you had it on a desk that was open as the vents for the fan are on the top of the monitor, but my desk is an antique roll-top which I would rather give up my right arm before I would the desk..lol. Especially when you have a pica paper-eating cat. :roll: It has been somewhat converted to allow for a computer in that it no longer has all the pigeon holes across the top to fit the monitor and removed all the guts on on of the bottom side that use to be I think for files and cut a hole on the back of that and put speaker mesh in that to allow a cpu to breath. But with the all-in-one, and in a roll-top I don't think it gets enough circulation of air, thus overheats and shuts off.
Since it is already wi-fi equiped once I get the sewing room remodled I 'm thinking of getting a wireless modem for both computers and setting this one up in the sewing room since in there it will be on a very open desktop. And I really didn't gain a lot of space when I made the switch because I got a bigger printer that is also a scanner and a fax machine as well as a copier..lol

Thanks for the explanation, I thought I had it figured out, but wasn't sure.
My desk is a small rolltop, have to have a laptop cooler on all the time, underneath it.

Shakes me up to! But we are in control and you did a beautiful job. Bored? I actually get that way a little, but today was anything but boring: Gobbles decided he wanted another decrease and it was a rare 55 degree March day (yes, I broke out the shorts) here in Ohio, so I did some yard work....brushed the drooler (outside as she is in the spring shedding mode...)....no cooking here tonight; husband said he wants pizza for dinner....nckitties3 said:That drop to 50 the other day, had me shakey, although I know it shouldn't. :lol: You know I'm bored, I'm cooking!

It's beautiful here today too, in the mid 60's and suppose to be low 70's in a couple days. So nice to see the winter temps backing off a bit, it's about time for us. :smile: We've been running below average for weeks. If I had a yard, I'd be in it. Instead I trimmed and water the house plants. :lol:

If it doesn't hold in the next couple of days you just go right back up again. However, if it doesn't hold this time then my suggestion is that before he gets it again you let him earn it like a long term diabetic...and like Autumn did today..instead of a number below 50 earning a reduction you wait until he gives you one below 40.
