Yesterday's condo

Happy Monday LL! Hope you all had a nice weekend!

China's doing good today but I heard her coughing several times last night and early this morning. Sure wish I had a better idea of what was going on other than "possible allergies/asthma". Her appetite is a little better this morning than it was last night, so that's good. I really can't believe that I'm still able to get her pilled without great bodily injury!

I think I'm going to try getting out for a little while today...Just to see if I can handle driving short distances. It's springtime outside and supposed to get up to the mid 70's!! YEAH!!!

Sending healing vines to those who need them, and thanks for all those who've sent them to me

I think China heard you say you were going out and had other plans! Surf safely, China. Mama could really use some fresh air! :mrgreen:

I understand your concern about the cough. We got the same response from our vet when our civvie Minka was coughing. They kept putting her on ABs and steroids and she'd do better for a while, but it would always come back. Eventually, she developed COPD. She has never acted sick - just coughs and has a sort of a rattling sound when she purrs. She sort of snorts when she eats, too. :lol: My vet isn't very concerned, since she's eating and active and doesn't seem to struggle for breath. You may be headed the same way, so just want to let you know not to over analyze it.

Hope China lets you get out and enjoy the spring weather.

I wish they could just tell us how they feel/what is wrong instead of the vet having to be guessing :roll: . That is frustrating. I'm glad shes being a good girl and taking her pills and eating her fuds :razz:

Looks like China decided you can go out for a bit now? I'm glad your knee is feeling so much better . Have a good night!

That's good you can still get the pills in China without a big fight. I hope it's helping. That's good she's eating better today. I hope your knee is doing better.

Thanks for the visits today!

I did make it outside for a little while today, and took the car around town just to see how I'd do. It was a little weird, especially when it came to braking, but I didn't kill anyone. If the knee's not any worse tomorrow, I'll probably go get DM out of Assisted Living and take her over to her new apartment. We can start doing some measuring for curtains, and to see what pieces of furniture will fit from her house. It's hard to believe the month is already 1/3 over with!!

China's being very lovey tonight, which I always adore. I even got a really loud purr out of her during her last poke! She's never purred through her pokes before!

Thinking of Rebekah tonight and the crossing of her dear Ole. No matter how long we have them, it's never long enough. Also thinking of Tonya as she spends one last night with her dear Sasha.

If we could take away even a little of their pain, I know each and every one of you would..as would I.

Way to go China!!

Couldn't ask for a much nicer day....started out not too high, dipped into the lagoon (safely!!!) and repeated on the PM cycle!

Let's try for another day just like this tomorrow, ok girl??

Glad you got out and hope you didn't overdo. I bet your mom will be so glad to get in her apt. She's really made progress!!

I wonder if the Standard process Allerplex would work for her? I used it for one of our kitties that was developing allergies and it did great things for her

At this point, I'd love to find something that worked better for China, so it might be worth a try.
