Hello!

Moses seems to be taking to his 1u dose quite well these days! He is so energetic and hyper! A very happy boy indeed. Very good pros for being on the insulin. Two negatives being him eating Ivan (hey!) and wailing while I play the piano!

He is a happy boy though... do I smell a decrease coming soon? Maybe when I get more data, on Wednesday ;-)

those pictures are GREAT. That little bird had better be REALLY thankful that there was a big piece of glass between him and Moses!

Come on Moses, maybe some action tonight?
 
Oh yes, Libby & Lucy, looks like we're seeing some action tonight!

Sienne & Gabby - Fungisan is an antiseptic germicidal spray for cats. It controls skin infections and helps promote healing. On 2/17 I noticed a medium/small sized scab around Moses' right shoulder blade. It was smaller than a dime, but bigger than a nail head. I noticed it continued to reopen so I sprayed this on top of the scab to help it heal. I think there's a bump that still remains, but it continues to heal today.

*Question - I have noticed that Moses' has these hard tiny scabs around his scruff, that I assume are from where the needle has been inserted for injections. I don't like that it's causing hard little knots and I avoid them when I shoot him. Is this typical?

Moses has the last third of dinner leftovers to eat, since his BG is currently 56. I think he'll be safe tonight, but does this leave room for a potential dose decrease coming up? I know I need more AM data. I'm bound to get more Wednesday morning, when I'm off work.

don't go to sleep on a +3~56, need to stay up and test again. How about +3.5? He's dropping fast and this is early in the cycle, I know Moses usually heads up pretty early too but you need to be sure!

I've never noticed scabs from shooting, but I never really looked for them either...
